You could entice him. You could bribe him. You could manipulate him. Women have used a variety of tactics to persuade a man “out of war,” so to speak. The more responsible and mature the better the relationship. Age and gender are both factors you have to death with here. Video games are hot topics. And Scar Face no less? People have been ignored for less. *isn’t there like 34 curse works in just a 60 second scene or something* They are quite fascinating specimens. However, you should watch your step. Have you ever ignored him on similar grounds? Shopping or girly chit chat or other. Try not to be a hypocrite in simple issues like these. Why not try being honest? Tell him that you feel neglected? Don’t use threats, seeing as they generally backfire. If push comes to shove and this becomes more frequent and a type of obsession, then pull the plugs. Easiest and somewhat cruel but effective. Whatever the tactic, you had better prepare for a possible battle.

lol i'd have to agree with the guy who first posted above - good luck getting through to a guy in the middle of a video game, or in the middle of scarface the movie, not to mention scarface the video game!! if you want to spend some time with him, your best bet is to play the video game with him (and in my experience, guys think it's pretty hot when a girl plays a video game, especially if you really get into the game).

You should either try and playing the game with him or just go find something better to do. Some chicks get pissed, don't do that. That's not cool at all. Just find something else to do there or go somewhere else and finish something you've been meaning to.
A guy playing a video game is about as exciting to you as us waiting for you while you're getting your hair done.

Typical male. It's not intentional, I'm positive. But that's just how they roll. Do your own thing while he plays with his friends. As long as he's making an equal effort to spend quality time with you, it's not that big of a thing. Don't demand attention, that's only gotten me in trouble. However, if it gets to the point where he actually makes you feel less important than the game, get out before you get hurt.

If he has only done it once or twice just ignore it, or sit there and play with him. My ex boyfriend used to do the same thing when we were dating.
But if he repeatedly does it even if he isn't really into the game (I'd say like 10 times or more) then he isn't actually into you and just using you. At that point I'd suggest leaving him.

Awe, isn't that a new game.. it's probably really exciting for him right now. Try playing with him.. If he ignores you on a regular basis you shouldn't put up with it, but if it's just during his game.. don't take it personally.. think about when you get something new and are really focused on it.

If you guys are alone and you want to get his attention, something that helps will be to strip right in front of him and I bet anything that he will drop the game and pay attention to you.
for the most part it is a guy thing so don't take it the wrong way sometimes we like to do our thing and have the person that we love next to us even though it is annoying to the other person.
so just take it easy pull that one on him see what happens...

Play it with him. Guys ignore girls when they play video games. Girls ignore guys when they're getting ready or shopping.

Girl, my BF ignores me for Madden 07.
Nothing you can do about it. I find a hobby.
