GUYS-
Why do you poke girls??
These guys I work with will poke me in the sides, back or stomach and I am thin so I don't know if they are poking/pinching for extra skin or what but it kinda makes me self-conscious. How should I take this??

I am not a guy, but I notice many guys do this. It annoys the crap out of me. I don't know any girls that like getting poked in the sides or stomach either. I think boys are silly!

I was one of the guy that used to do that and we are not looking for the extra skin or anything like that, is just that the reaction that women have when you poke them they get jumpy if you poke them in the ribs they jump or twitch which was fun back in Jr. high or high school but not if you get older unless is someone that you are involve with and you do it just to have fun at times.
so don't take it the wrong way...

Don't be self-conscious... If guys poke you its probably because they like you. Trust me, being skinny is a good thing, guys *love* really skinny girls, and they like to poke if they see something they like ;)

It's an action of endearment. You may be self concious about your "extra skin" or whatever, but he doesn't care. He's flirting/playing around with you.

You should slap them hard when they do so and tell them to never do that again. They're just morons.
