my home is my sanctuary, I am only comfortable here. I can not go to a supermarket let alone a church, and when I hear a knock at the door I feel overwhelming panic, even if it's a missionary or what ever a door to door god peddler is called.
How can I feel faith in a religious way? I think it's what I need.

you seem really paranoid....

one way to get over a fear is to confront it, you'll soon realize it wasn't that scary to begin with

It sounds like you have an anxiety disorder. I know this because I had the same thing while I was in Seattle, WA for two years. Pills help, but should not be depended upon totally. A low dose anti-depresent might help, along with a sedative like Ativan or Valium (for very short term) See your doctor. Keep praying to God and ask Jesus as your saviour. Trust me, good faith works.

This doesn't sound like a religious issue or even a faith issue. It does sound like an anxiety disorder. Don't give up on God, but do see a psychiatrist for help - a psychologist can't prescribe the medicine you may very well need to help balance brain chemicals.

If you are looking for something to believe in,.read and study the bible.
Put your faith in God. He sent His Son Jesus to pay the penalty for our sin.
No matter what other people tell you, the bible is true, it is God's Holy Word.
It has proved itself to be true by biblical prophecy. Sometimes if it is His will God heals people. Read about Him, pray for help from Him.
Take it one step at a time. If you have questions about bible study feel free to email me.

You can have faith in God with out attending a church. It is good to have fellowship with other believers. There may be a small bible study near you that you might feel comfortable in. Precept Ministries web site lists bible studies all over the country. Check out their web site to see if there is one near you:

I believe you are suffering from agoraphobia...fear of ppl. There are great medications that will help you far more than a belief in god will. Best wishes.

Faith is not what you need. Your condition has a specific name: agoraphobia, and you should see a doctor (probably a psychiatrist) for dealing with it. You can be helped; go for it.

What you need a is a shrink. Maybe you should consider that rather than God. Agoraphobia is not a joke.

You're agoraphobic and if you're not careful, your sanctuary will become your tomb.
