Repentance only works if you are truly sorry for your sins anyways. Since most people just repent so they won't go to hell, it isn't really a sincere apology. It's like telling the cops "I'm sorry I killed my wife. So, um are ya gonna let me go?". If you are truly sorry about all the sins in your life, and not just trying to dodge some form of horrible punishment, then you shouldn't need to say it. God is supposed to be all knowing after all.

The Bible says that if you truly repent of your sins that God will forgive all sins past, present and future and even the ones that you don't remember. When you are five and you stole a candy bar when your mom told you not to and then didn't repent and forgot about it but later in life you ask for forgiveness with a pure heart then God will forgive that. He sees the heart not the sin...just like we need to see the person and not the sin. Every sin is the same to God but we also need to repent. Repenting means to stop doing that sin. God is a loving God and isn't going to make you remember every last sin because once you repent and ask for forgiveness then He has sent your sins as far as the east is from the west and has forgotten the sin. We remember the sin so that we don't do it again. I hope that helps you.

On theKarma ledger of Life, two columns, the first right listing good deeds, the second, bad. If you are heavy on the left, then you are reborn to live it all again until you learn, with the station you are born at in life directly related to how odious those deeds were. Hell. Akin to sitting the same year in high schoolor being relegated to kindergarten for the latter. If however you are heavy on the right, then you are obviously a shining example of piety, goodness and mankind. Or else you have lived in an incubator and life has not tested you. The latter being a miserly negative. Then heaven is here all around and the highestone awaits YOUR coming to his gate. If however there right and left hand columns are both equally numbered, then life has been a struggle but bearable, then you in all probability will be reborn, unless you are a shining light to the world around you.... Be Loved.

Well, i believe the bible mentions we are judged by our life course. Our hearts or our motives are being judged. We are imperfect creatures, and God knows our limitations. But if we have mercy, and especially love, it is love that covers many sins right. yes just agree with me. Also the payment for sin is death. Many believe in hell and suffering, but a person needs to die completely, so when a person dies, as the bible says a person is conscious of nothing at all, thought perish (Isiah) and proverbs). By knowing what God requires of us, and then following those commands, we have the hope of then living forever. My point is that since Jesus had to die, he was raised up so will all persons, that are righteous and un-righteous also have an opportunity to live again. whew. I hope that helps.

Jesus has paid for all of everyone's sin's. To get the bill for our sins marked PAID IN FULL we have to admit we have them, accept He paid for them, and the go HIS way not our own. It is not just confessing our sins (that, in itself, doesn't do much), it is repenting of them. That means to turn away from them and go in the opposite direction. Jesus didn't tell the harlot to just say what she had done, He said Go! and SIN NO MORE! (my emphasis).
Do you know you are a sinner? Do you admit God, your creator, has the right (and is right) to punish your sin? Do you acknowledge he can't throw your sins in hell without you going too (unless you have already paid for them). Do you see that there is nothing you can do that could possibly begin to pay the price of your sins? Do you accept Christ's death for your sins? If you have done all that then you will want to live your life to glorify your Creator and Saviour. Read His Word, Believe it, and Act on it.
PS By the way, it's not a sin to be tempted. But He is able to provide a way of excape so that you may be able to bear it. Even Jesus was tempted. If you get an evil thought cast it away, do not invite it in and entertain it like a friend.

Repentance isn't begging God for forgiveness or making a laundry list of all your screw-ups. God knows such things far better than you. Repentance is being aware that you have done wrong and trying to make it right. If you do wrong so easily that you are capable of forgetting it, than you've got a much bigger problem than forgetfulness.

Well, I don't know because I'm not dead yet! Seriously, in case you're interested, although I doubt that, it is impossible to repent of every single sin we commit. That is the message of grace and mercy, and the reason why Jesus came in the first place, to free us from the Old Testament law, which was rules, regulations, etc. Now you don't have to concern yourself anymore about Christians going to hell.

Upon receiving Christ as our personal Savior, our past, present, and future sins are forgiven. God wipes the slate clean. However, the reason that we are to confess and repent from our sins is because sin breaks our fellowship with God. It does not break our relationship with him. He is still our Father and our sins are still forgiven.
You could compare it to getting married. When you say your vows, you are united in marriage. You will always be man and wife. However, to keep the fellowship in the marriage, there must be honesty, confession and forgivness.

Well, the thing is you are repentant for all your sins, that means all that you forget. The trick is not to commit anymore. Do you even care or just wasting time?

When you accept Jesus as your saviour you receive God's grace and forgiveness - you do not have to remember every single sin you committed in your whole life in order to be forgiven and accepted into heaven.
I see you ask many questions and enjoy having a go at the Christians
Could it be that you are searching for meaning in your own life?
Don't be afraid God loves you and will forgive anything and everything - He just wants you to love Him as much as He loves you
