You mean only lettuce? This would be a very, very bad idea because you would be malnourished due to the lack of protein and vitamins and minerals. I wonder if you might have an eating disorder if you are considering a dangerous diet like this. Please get help!

please don't do that, it's way too dangerous
your health is more important than losing a few pounds which will be regained if you survive this diet and stop it eventually
go see a registered dietician for help they can help you lose up to 2 pounds a week with proper excercise don't go more than that
if you want to try it on your own excercise every day and cut out junkfood and eat more protein and fresh fruits and vegetables as well as less fat although you still need fat in your diet for your body to function properly. it takes longer time but you get safer and more permanent results , you will look great and feel great too.

1. your starting weight (muscle mass) which will determine your metabolic rate, so how much energy u burn just to maintain normal bodily function
2. how much activity u do every day .. work more burn more
3. how much you of that lettuce eat,
but if u eat a poor diet like that, your body will thinks it is starving hence will slow your metabolic rate, best to eat healthy food, 5 small meals a day to keep it up. should only lose 1-2 kg a week, more than that isnt healthy.

Why not a vegan diet??? you need your vitamin B12, fiber, B6, sodium, potassium etc. Eating only lettuce for 6 weeks would result of malnutrition just to let you know that.

that depends on many, many different factors.
but first and foremost a lettuce diet for 6 weeks could litterally kill you.
try eating around 1200 normal calories a day and getting in at least 30 min of cardiovascular excersize.
that works best.

Lots-and you would end up in the hopspital with malnourishment. I use the South Beach diet. You feel good on it and lose weight really fast.

sick, lettuce diet? i dont think i could eat lettuce for a whole week.
have you tried other diets, that might be more successful?
remember when dieting to drink lots and lots of water, small portions, and excersise! it always works.

It depends on how much over weight you are...if you are already a skinny person, you are not going to loose too much. On the other hand, if you weigh like 300lb, maybe you'll loose like 10lbs a day or something...

Probably a lot. But you would gain it right back after resuming regular eating habits. If you want to lose weight, you have to rely on portion control, eating healthy meals and exercise.

may be 20 pounds but thats just stupid because your body will face vitamin deficiency and stuff like that. Try a combination of everything and dont go on extreme diets. Trust me, they never work.
