When you installed Internet Explorer 7, where did you get the installation source from?

Also, did you make sure to uninstall any toolbars or add-ons that were on your IE6 installation?

I have installed IE7 in hundreds of computers in the last week alone, and none have become "super slow". The slowest PC I did that upgrade on was a P3 500Mhz with 512MB PC133 ram, it works flawlessly.

Me too...It slowed my computer big time, but I thought it was the extra Norton security download, so I also reprogrammed my computer. Twice... ha-ha...It wasn't funny at the time. They say my computer is Vista capable...Not me...I will not be a Vista guinea pig. Internet Explorer 6 and XP are doing just fine!

If IE is your only browser, you wouldn't have any way of downloading a new copy. The Trojan resides on your computer in a separate file and the chances are that deleting IE wouldn't get rid of it. When you load up your new copy of IE, it would become infected and the registry would change.

yeah they claimed they had all the bugs out of it but apparently not. I've installed it twice since beta. It was worse in beta and messed up my computer so bad I had to use restore disk on it.
