For a school project my friends and I got together and we gathered up food items and clothes. And then we went to the teacher and we got it all planned out and we sent them over to them :)

In order to help soldiers in Iraq I would firstly simplify and make order in their code of conduct in civilian neighborhoods. When a soldier needs to react quickly he/she cannot possibly remember tenth of regulations!
I also propose that any self preservation action, done by non-officers in a completely unforeseen situation, is legitimate and the responsibility for any damage be shared between the American and the Iraq governments.

Not only back up and support them but support what they are doing and thier purpose in Iraq, because they believe in what they are doing..,so should we.You cannot support the soldiers and not support what they are doing and thier mission...,ask a soldier what it means to support the troops but not thier mission. They will tell you its BS.Adopt a soldier not just for the holidays but year round, you will be amazed at the education you will get from a group of guys and gals that John Kerry believes are not educated.

I am already doing it. I go out of my way to have intelligent conversations with people who have no clue about the dangers we face regarding terrorism and radical Islam.
I know for a fact I have opened a lot of eyes. Some people have even cried.
The fact is that the majority of our troops know why they are there, and a large vocal minority at home do not. And they are dangerous to the mission.
Help our troops by educating the ignorant complacent morons that ridicule those who defend their freedom and liberty.

I would try to send them a package from home along with a letter. For i know some of them have no one to write to. And just tell them Thank You for protecting me and my country, and God Bless You.

If I could do anything to help them what would it be? Well If I could do anything, I wish I could give out new arms and legs to all our soldiers who lost limbs while over there.

Medically I can't.
But, I would re-enlist, and be on the next plane to Iraq to cover their 6's.
