I think it's a form of both "benefit" and "entertainment". For the most part, I think there are a lot of people who read the answers and find something in them that could help them out, or that have answered their questions (not including the more immature answers from those who use sarcasm and rudeness for their own humiliation purposes). It's entertainment to read the lesser quality answers, too, though. I think everyone benefits from this forum in their own way, just as much as they find it entertaining.

Hi,
I have. I had some computer questions and I got answers that were very helpful! We have differnt people in the world, different attitudes, different experiences, different goals, different cultures, different religions, different lifes lessons, but we are all in one world.
Therefore, some will be entertained and others will do the entertaining. Some will get answers to their questions and some will get complaints as to why they asked the questions. All are opinions, but free to be asked that is dependent on the character of the person asking and the person answering. So the true answer to your question is Yes and No. But that grey area is what makes it worth while for those who expect and hope for honest answers to their questions. Thanks for asking,
Arene

I enjoy this forum because I like to see what other people see and think about religion. I have benefited from it because I have helped some of the people whose questions I answer. Sometimes it is frustrating because some people like to try to instigate arguments.

Both. I learn stuff when I go look up information on questions people ask. I am also entertained by the witty repartee of some of the players and amused by the bitter responses from the people who get angry when the validity of their beliefs are brought into question.

Learning about people and personalities is a way to expand your mind. From all the answers and questions that are genuine there is an educational benefit.

It is not a forum. And it is for the entertainment.

Do you mean Y!A in general, or R&S in particular? As far as Y!A, I have definitely benefitted, although I generally enjoy it. As far as R&S I feel like I have a pretty solid view of my beliefs, but I have asked a couple questions about Biblical topics. So yes, and yes.
