Jesus spoke of the hardness of hearts and that this day would come. We can only pray for a move of the Holy Spirit to convict them.

It's a nice thought, however nothing you can do will change my mind. Not that people don't try, but I am a non-believer. I have no problem being called that, because it's true. Religion as it is right now will never convince me to change my mind. Religion is the problem - religion made me what I am. And organized religion as we know it today is against the teaching of Jesus, something which neither the church or it's followers seem to understand. I can't follow the pack and believe, while disregarding the teachings.

God gave us freewill, the will to choose our own path in life. Religion however was man made. Anything by man is fallable. Coming to God is an individual choice, not something that can be pushed upon a person. Pushing only makes one push back. Instead of worrying about religion, why not worry about our own faith. I am a Christian, however I do not believe in Organized Religion. I am not a sheep, and I don't need a Shepard to tell me what to believe. I am assuming the Atheist feel the same way. Everybody must come to their own.

I feel that the main problems regarding peoples choice in faith stem from the fact that people have so many options to choose from. Christianity, Bhuddism, Taoism, Islaam, Wicca, Satanism, Scientology, Hinduism, and literally hundreds more. It seems to me that people sometimes feel so overwhelmed by their options that they feel the best choice is not to choose and just see what happens. As a result an atheist may be born, by an eventual choice not to believe anything. As a result, any improvement on our faiths would have little to no effect, and could possibly convince an athiest that his/her choice not to believe was even wiser than originally imagined.

Yes there is something wrong with religions, since they are part of Satan's control, they have a destructive influence. Look closely and you can see most religion is cooperating with military nations. Is not the kingdoms of the earth under Satan's control ??? Yes it is look at what Satan said to Jesus in the desert by tempting him of just that. So that is one problem,
yes we can improve our faith by following what the bible says not by tradition or some preacher. Of course our daily life should be the best example to those that do not believe. Actually calling people non-believers are just that, they are making an choice. It is God and his regulations, and laws, that are going to draw people closer to God anyway.

I don't think atheists are really growing in number that exponentially... but we do live in an information age where any committed minority with the right resources can project an influence incommensurate with their numbers.
But I think there are theists who are growing more sophisticated in how they engage culture, secular ideas..... despite the common tack that atheists make of theists, that we don't think, or we must somehow check our brains at the door.... I honestly think their worst nightmare would be to see the day when Christians begin seeing loving God with our Minds as well as with our Hearts as equally important.
Despite the rhetoric, I tend to think the last thing these people want is a thinking Christian.

No not at all, this is fulfillment of Biblical prophesy in which Christ said that when He returns He will find very little Faith on the Earth. Hence, the True Church (the Bride of Christ) is expected to be a very small "remnant" when He returns. So obviously atheism and other anti-Christians will flourish abundantly, but when Christ returns He will remove, snatch up and take His Bride like a "Thief in the night", thus removing the "salt" (Christians) from the Earth which formerly served to preserve the world from deterioration and destruction, but with the Christians gone, then the atheists and other anti-Christians will then reap the full and unhindered onslaught and maturation for what they have sown, the Fires of Purification and Death, being the horrid and catastrophic "Bowl Judgments" described in the Book of Revelation.

In USA are not a lot of atheists. I heard that atheist in there are unacceptable, while, here in Europe, it is not important what you believe in. Here are many atheists, and also religions from the whole world. But it is nothing wrong to be atheist, maybe it is even cool to be atheist. And atheism is the fastest religion in here. Yes it is!
American boy: How old are you? And you still believe in fairy tales! How sad!

if you believe you are going too heaven or getting virgins in bulk, then you may want to be less concerned with how we treat this world of ours, because even when you die there may be an alternative guaranteed. If you are atheist, which normally at least in the way i see it,more scientific, about the way you see the world you realize that even with what you learn in the bible,or no matter which bible you study .you are still going to die i. it sucks but it is absolutely a fact that everyone knows.now if we are standing alone together as a world, alone in the universe.we may never get a chance to recognize ourselves as we see ourselves the same way again after we die our brain which stores memory is destroyed, sometimes memory is lost before we even die, like from altzeimers disease for example. like destorying the hard drive on a computer.if that is true this is our one chance don't you think that makes life just a lot more valuable than any church wants you to believe, i personaly consider nobody to be my father who is seemingly no closer than a stranger even if we are governed by something out there watching over us in our churches or places of worship.think about how many people that have died fighting for a god or gods they believed in. when we could have been trying to find ways to get into space more and explore our solar system furthering our chances for survival in a dangerous universe a lot better .and our bones are made of calcium which if you look it up is actually elementally a metal. and in addition to that. one of the most golden rules of science is that energy is never lost it is transferred from one thing to another, your body contains energy in different forms.when you die know matter how much you chop, burn, even explode yourself, that material that was once your body goes somewhere, energy=mass right? mass of your body = energy right?. i have more to add to this later but i must be done now.i also would like to add a poem i wrote but it is not copy written yet

Let them be. Everyone has different paths in life. If you're happier with religion, that's great! If you're not happy with religion, that's fine too! Just don't think that one person is better than another by what they believe. It's how they act towards one another that counts! The real trouble starts when someone thinks their way of thinking is better than another person's.
Don't change you religion. Stick to your beliefs! Atheists are not going to change either.

Not necessarily. Whatever the truth may be it's NOT something you get to vote on. It atheists are growing in number (and I'm not convinced that's true) that doesn't prove they're right or wrong or that religion is right or wrong.
