it all comes with being the older one. get use to itbecause it will only get worse. wait until she gets old enough to start taking your clothes and wanting to be liek you. it just brings you guys closer the more you bicker and fight.

Oh sweetie, I have 2 little sisters and I used to have the same problem with mine. We're all grown up now and in our 40's. We often think about all of the childhood antics we shared. And they are our most prized and treasured memories. You really should be flattered that your little sister imitates you. They say it's the biggest form of flattery. Obviously Lil sis thinks big sis is the BOMB. She has a lot of respect for you , believe it or not. She looks up to you. And wants to be just like you. Sweetie, I realize Lil sisters can get on your last nerve , but let me make a suggestion. When Lil sis starts being a pest try to stop what ever it is that you are doing and ask her to come into your room and just yak at her talk to her , see what she has to say. Someday you will long for the chance to be closer to her. For some reason when we grow up we seem to become separated from our siblings. That is what has happened with me and my sissy's. I would give anything to be able to go back to our childhood so I could spend more time with them. Try easing up on your sister sweetie. She just loves you. When she's being annoying that's just the only way she feels she can get some of your much desired attention. Love and cherish her and remember , she won't be a child for long. And when she stops pestering you , you will see that she is growing up. Stay close to her. Don't make the mistake I made , always pushing them away. I miss and love my sisters so much. Sometimes I wonder if I had been a better and more understanding big sister , we would have a much closer relationship know that we're grown. I am the one that now seeks their attention. Time flies by so quickly. You think you have all the time in the world. But that isn't true. I hope I have helped you in some way to understand why little sis is a little pest. Try this for a while, spend some quality time with her. Take her to the store and do some shopping. All she wants, really, is your time and attention. when you get home from school, play things that she likes to play. after awhile she'll stop, and then you'll wonder what happen to the little sister that use to drive you crazy. Try it for a while. What have you got to lose? Time well spent with your sister. Good luck.

I am a middle child of three girls! It gets better with age, though. About the annoying part, try some rules like "If you don't do this for a week... you can have...." Or "If you don't do this, you can borrow this for a day..." Also try to bribe her with the movies or something she likes. "If for one month you don't do this... I'll take you to the movies..." Younger sisters adore you and just want some attention and feel that you accept them and like them too. Spending quality time with her at least once a week will satisfy this need and might make the rest of the week more bearable. It depends on your ages...

You should be flattered that she has chosen you to be her role model. You will not think so now but one day you will long for that little sister to be around to annoy you. If that is your only problem you are very lucky indeed. You need to go hug your sister and be happy God blessed you with one and that she is still alive and there with you. How would you feel if she really were gone?

i was the youngest child. i thought my big sis was the coolest person i knew and i wanted to be just like her. sounds like your little sis wants your approval. spend a little time with her. when she is grown up and these times are all in the past, you will wish you had done more and knew her better. help teach her by the mistakes you have done. she wants your attention. let her know you love her and help her learn to be her own person. help her find her individuality. family is the most important people in our lives. don't waste this rare opportunity.

she knows she is annoying you, you probably yell and make a scene, so this is her satisification. If you just laugh, that will pop her bubble, want be as much fun anymore. As for as copying what you do, she want copy you if you do the things that she hates to have to do.

She's small, you have to understand that children are not mature.When you were small like her you probably did the same thing! She might be copying you because she wants to be like you. Don't worry so much about it.
