Crate training is the best method. Some pups take some time to get used to it though, you just have to stay perisistant with it. Without crate training, be prepared to watch that puppy 24 hours a day and getting no sleep because when you do fall asleep, she will use the floor. You can get some pee pads and train her to use those while in the house and when you're asleep but still work with her on going outdoors when you're with her. My puppy never took to the pee pads but crate training did wonders!

You should buy a potty seat he can use at the grownup potty, or you'll make him use the baby. Either means you'll be able to mainly ought to keep in the toilet with him till he is going for the primary few months of potty coaching. Don't assume him to be in a position to move in there and care for it himself. Grab a booklet and plant your self till he is going. Don't make it traumatic. You can present a present of a few variety if he makes use of both potty (like 2 m&m's). Be sufferer although he isn't and do not fear. Training takes time.

She will throw a fit in the kennel, in the begining, but clear consice training will solve that. Through her fit she has learned that she is in control of you, if she throws a fit enough you will do what she wants. Would you let your toddler throw a fit to get what they want?? Is allowing a tantrum to control you teaching your dog anything postive?
The line is now crossed and now she is training you by getting you to take her out.. You are heading down a slippery road my friends because you aren't the leader of the pack!

Well I have had dogs for years and well alot of puppies The first thing is to get a name for potty I say lets do wees, then you take them to the same spot every hr or when you can and say the word over and over again when they do wees or poo give them a treat only associated with wees
this works and will only take a little while you will probably go mental in the mean while but it has always worked for me

I potty trained my dog by going outside with her every single day and making sure she went in the yard. I watched her so that when she showed signs of having to go I'd scoop her up and bring her outside. Now that she's older she'll tell me when she has to go and I'll just open the door and she'll go outside and go, she also knows that when she's done she should come back up to the door and be let inside again.

When my dog was a puppy i kept him on a leash when in the house and unattended. At night i tied him to the bed. When he whined in the middle of the night I brought him out to do his business and praised the heck out of him when he did. Never hit. An animal responds to your tone, they get sad when you're not happy, and happy when you're happy. Let the pup know when he's had an accident that you're not happy, unhappy tone, "bad boy!". When he's gone outside praise him with a high happy voice. This worked like magic with my dog. He was trained very quickly. Good luck to you! :)
***I see two people didn't agree with my answer. I will just say that my dog is now 13 years old and he's not had an accident in the house since he was three months old. You many not agree, but have you tried it? Oh, and my dog also hated being in a crate. He was terrified. I do not believe you have to be mean to animals to get the trained. ***
