No, it doesn't. Some guys like to have a girl who they can talk about that too. It might even increase your chance. Just be sure that you don't talk about it all the time. Guys want a girlfriend too, not just another buddy.

Depends on the guy. And if baseball and cars interest you, talk about them all you want. If this guy doesnt like it, there is a guy out there who will be impressed that you know about these things. My guy is trying to get me into football so we can talk about it more

some guys find it very hot when a girl knows about cars. I know that for a fact b/c I work in a auto store and always get told that, as for basketball I am not sure. Out of all the sports to choose basketball is totally on my not so favorite list.

I think girls think that liking baseball or cars, or playing sports will turn off a guy are totally wrong. Some girls even act like they like those things to get closer to guys because guys typically like a girl that also enjoys the same things he does.

I think guys like girls that have interests and are passionate about things other than themselves. So no, liking something is definitely NOT a turn off. And the fact that you like things that typical guys like, your chances are higher.

not as long as you make yourself noticeable by your feminine qualities as well as your knowledge of automobiles. I'm sort of a tomboy when it comes to fixing things and knowing my way around putting things together but I always make up with feminine attributes as well. There is no shame in being knowledgeable in guy things specially if you can use it to your advantage. But be careful because some man feel kind of creeped out when a female shows more knowledge than them in manly topics, so choose your behavior carefully and tone it down a little if you notice a change of attitude from his part.

some like it...i used to like it until i dated a girl that was sooo like a guy, it felt like i was dating my brother. If the vcr was broken, she'd be the first to check it out. If the ball game was on tv she'd want me to go make some snacks. She was like a dude with a rack. So were just friends now and I really want a female for a girlfriend.

If you challenge your man's own manhood, you may be single for a while. Take it from my ex

No as long as you do not over talk the guy's. Guy's want to show other guy's up. If a girl knows more than that hurts our ego. We are only a few steps from monkeys. Good luck

Not really. But just don't act like you know more about these things than him, and remember that guy time at the baseball game is GUY time. Don't try to include yourself in his male bonding.

it depends. if this guy is a car and baseball nut, no. if he spends more time than you a the mall, then yes. I have a neighbor lady who i talk tools with all the time because her husband doesn't know which end of a hammer to use.

depends on the guy....

some guys find it interesting that a girl likes things that they are more generally into....and of course there are those guys that don't like for women to know more about cars and baseball than they do
