I don't particularly *like* the show .. but I don't see anything wrong with religious people watching the show just for a laugh. Just like here on Y!A it should be okay for people to occasionally crack a joke and poke fun without everyone getting bent out of shape and shouting "blasphemy". A sense of humor is a good thing, so long as it is not abused.

I don't think it should be banned or anything but I just wonder what the attraction is. I mean they mock any and every nobel thing in the world. I've watched it before when it first came out and found nothing of interest in it. I mean what would be in a persons heart that would attract them to such a lack of empathy. Wasn't there a character in that show at one time, that was poop? They actually made a character out of crap. That's just vile. Who is their target audience? 10 year old boys? With such adult content, it can't possibly be good for 10 year old boys to even watch. So apparently their target audience is immature people with no empathy who enjoy watching others mock anything good in this world. *shrug* If that's what floats your boat, but it won't recieve any sympathy from me when people tire of the poo poo humor and grow up and the show is taken off the air.

I've always wondered if religious people were even allowed to have a good sense of humor. Ask yourself if your god minds you watching it, and if he does, then maybe you should find a new god. Unless you think South Park is actually satan. But then I'd say don't watch.

Well yes, unless they are the type who get offended easily. Because to me the show is hilarious, but to someone else it may not be, it just depends on how seriously they would take it.

Walk on the edge of the cliff and you might fall in. Following God is not a bunch of rules, but a state of heart. It is by choice that we turn from sin and this world. Not by rules. It is because we PREFER God.

I'm religious, and I find nothing humorous whatsoever in that show. I guess I'm a prude, but I just have no desire to watch it.

Hmmm... lets see.. it portrays god as a midget hippo and Jesus as a wussy that can't really make miracles. Basically the blasphemy is through the roof, so I would say yes, totally agreeable with Jesus.

There is nothing wrong with it. It is very entertaining. Forget what the catholics and mormons say. Even if it was a sin, Jesus died for our sins and his bloodcancels out any sin you can imagine. Go in Christ
