You just answered your own question. Age has nothing to do wtih love, as long as they aren't under 18 unless the two of you are, and if you are, 4 years is a big difference. Otherwise, don't let it slow you down.

No only up to 3 years older is possible. Really it depends on what age you are. It would not be appropriate for an 18 year old girl to date a 14 year old boy but it would be alright for a 24 year old girl to date a 20 year old boy.
