If you discovered a rock that when you hit it with a stick it would open up and there would be a million dollars for you to take. (you only get to do it once though) Wouldn't you go running around telling people about the rock? Well, what we have found is even better then a rock that gives million dollar booties. We have found something that is priceless. It is only natural to want to share it with as many people as possible. Plus, Jesus instructed us to spread his gospel to all nations and all peoples.

In my belief it has been spread around the world by word of mouth and that took several centuries. Most of the time I do lay back, playing with the family - doing odd jobs, and relax, but if there is someone outside my family having problems and they ask for advice about how I deal with life and all the complications than tell them about my faith/beliefs.
I never force anyone to listen, never talk bad about nonbelievers, believers in other religions, so called atheist or anyone else - unless asked my personal opinion. Have a nice day and if you don't want to know something don't ask any questions about it!

thank god, i have waited soooooo long for someone to mention this, i've thought like that since i was 12, i'm "catholic", and i'm just fine with that, i have a muslim friend, buddhist, jewish, agnostic, atheist, and i love them all the same, i rarely ever tell them (or even think) that i'm right and their wrong, we only talk about religion if it's an assignment or if we're just curious, and in the time that we never discuss it is spent wasting time having fun, the way we should be instead of fighting each other on what's right and what's wrong
there might be a true religion, there might not, if you're wrong, okay, then your screwed, if you're right, then congrats, you got the winning lotto number.....until then, let's relax, play some games, get some money, and enjoy the nature of natural life

People can't prove their faith is truth because it's FAITH. Only God can prove such things one way or the other. And he does to those who are truly searching for the truth with a broken heart (humility) and a contrite (or sincere) Spirit. If you really don't want to know then he's not going to waste his time showing you the miracles He holds in his hands!

there is totally one God who's Jehovah! although there are a number of distinctive biased variations of god alongside with Christianity (because of the fact Jesus isn't God)! one element i like appropriate to the Baha'i faith is they believe in a destiny Messiah as do the Jews and Muslims(and perhaps some others)! they believe in the two Jesus and the destiny Messiah who's in Zechariah 4 & Rev. 11. Christianity is fake because of the fact they think of that Jesus is the sole Messiah!

for a lot of different reasons. Some, were raised believing that is the way to be. Completely ingrained within them. Some are trying to prove something to themselves. Some are trying to find answers. People in general are opiniated. If they are pushed they will push back. Even if they don't believe what they are saying.

faith is often a hedge on reality, a crutch. it's only real because you and your buddies make it real. so to make it real, to fight your inner doubt, you sell it. it's not just religion, it's all kinds of behavior that people "sell." fundamentalist faith is memetic, it insists it's the only truth in a world full of truths, thus it must fight to win, to convert the heathens. followers are fed the same absurd logic: you must fight for an all-powerful god, you must argue for truths that are inarguable and beyond question. the subconscious doubt must be suppressed at all times, and constant proselytizing does the trick. these 'faithful' are ultimately trying to convince themselves as much as others...

It is because they believe that that there is only one way to Heaven, and they want everyone to have a chance to go to heaven. So they feel it is their duty to try to spread the word and get people to convert.
I disagree, but I also try to understand that their actions are based on sincerity. They want the best for others. And in their misguided beliefs, they think that the best for others is to be only their religion.

Christians in YA just want to make fun of Atheists for our godless ways, And Atheists in YA want to make fun of Christians for their lack of reason.
I really hope nobody is really in here to prove anything!
