Perhaps,
I doubt it will be "God" though

On the average I would say No! But here is the rub: go ask this question of some leading thinkers in quantum physics. The deeper they get into it the more they see that there is something that put everything together and holds it there. Most of them because of this have an understanding of and respect for God!

It is possible that science will lead to extend our life by a few decades, then hundreds of years, and then achieve immortality. It is possible that in less than 300 years, if we don't destroy ourselves with our pettiness, we can replace every part of our body, including regenerate brain cells and conquer death by disease. If God exists, he will have to wait for souls to judge because there might be a terrible shortage!
Most likely, God is just an invention of people. If you could live healthily another hundred years, what other careers would try to choose in your long life? Could we then travel on space ship on journeys that take a few hundred years and move to other planets outside the Solar System?
The purpose of life is to live happily here, to learn how to live, and how to achieve knowledge so that we can live forever!

Not necessarily. God and religion deal with the supernatural, while science deals with purely the natural world. They aren't at all in disagreement with one another. I believer that people may be able to justify their belief in God with science, but science won't lead everybody to God.

Nope. Only faith leads us to God. Science is not about faith. Science is evidence based and doesn't allow for faith. God can't be proved or disproved by science. Science and religion can coexist peacefully but one doesn't lead to the other.

Science only explains how God works or how God made things. It explains behavior.
AND, as Einstein pointed out, it is RELATIVAISTIC, which means that many different PLANES exist and the rules from one plane don't fully apply or apply at all to the other PLANES.
Thus, it is possible for one to walk on water if one exists in a plane that allows for it. Even if others around them are in another plane.

It's very possible that science will reveal things that point to God ... it could change some minds. Ultimately, discovering God is prompted by a deep yearning and sincere seeking.

No, as long as there is no god, he stays firmly rooted in the supernatural. As science looks for natural causes, they wouldn't cross paths. And that's why science never invokes god as an explanation.

Science is the name of FACTS. It can lead us to God by knowing the reality....and sorting out our beliefs.

I'm sorry but God is not going to be uncovered by Science. You can not kick God's door in and overpower him. He is available to everyone but that is not the approach you need. God reveals his truth to all who seek him but it is God who chooses to reveal it. Many claim they found God and in reality they search until God grants them revelation he was never missing he's not even hidden. Your ability to see God comes from God through seeking his truth but faith is a free gift and through faith comes revelation. While seeking truth we become changed and that change enables us to know God. He was always there he was never hiden but we could not see him the way we were until he changed us. We were changed by God while we were seeking the truth God said it all along those that seek the truth shall find it.

God trandcends time and space, while science is limited to time and space. I think the study of His creation will eventually lead us to the belief that He does exist and has a divine plan and that we are apart of that plan.
