Eternally sin?

Mark 3:28-30

Fellow Christians, I'm still looking for an acceptable explanation about this.
The question here is "How?"

Jesus speaks about speaking against the Holy Spirt. Some translations use the word "deny" the Holy Spirit

As you know when we become Christians we are Baptised by watter and the Spirit. We receive the Holy Spirit when we come to Christ.

So what Jesus is saying here is that any sin you commit can be forgiven, but denying the Holy Spirit cannot be forgiven because in order to receive God's grace you must receive the Holy Spirt.

You cannot have one without the other - no Holy Spirit - no forgiveness

Hope this helps

If someone says something bad about God, He can forgive them because maybe they don't understand who God is. The same goes for Jesus. Look what they did to Him and yet He forgave. The Holy Spirit is God's unmistakable presence in the world. He is all the goodness and light that we can sence and appreciate. When people deliberately reject and curse this goodness (because they are evil and have made that a choice) there is nothing left that can save them.
