Not if the circuit only has the light bulb in it. The light switch and wires won't use any power.

No.When the light bulb goes out there is nothing there to use the energy.Power is still running to the fixture,but at the same time there is no electricity being used.

Ok, I'll bite and answer this for you. The answer is definitely NO! Provided there is nothing else on this switched circut. ie. an outlet or two. in most houses if you walk into a room and there is no celling light the swich will also control an outlet. This also depends on the builder. So, that "said" to truley know turn off switch and plug a lamp or something into each wall outlet if there is one where lamp does not go on BINGO! Controled by switch.

No. No light implies no electricity; either the bulb burnt out or the supply was interrupted somewhere.

electricity can only move on a closed circuit. There is no gas, but there is a tiny filament inside that breaks if the circuit can not take the load. once this happens, the electricity can no longer flow, or be used.

i don't think so! because there is not force in placed to connect from the wire to the light bulb

no..coz your not burning any electric..the light bulb has gas in it..when it goes out..its got no gas left to burn
