How old is your cat?. It could be nothing or it could be caused by a number of medical conditions. I would watch for changes in weight and food intake. Thyroid problems can be linked to increased vocals. But this is worst case....maybe he is just finding his voice. Good Luck

Males do not go into heat. Females do which is what prompts males to try to get outside because they can sense it and they will cry to get there. Males make an awful sound when calling to the female! (much like the females sound when she's in heat) He could just be a very vocal cat. Some cats love to talk! But if he is doing it persistantly and if you notice it's during a certain thing he does, he may need to see a vet. He could be trying to tell you that something is wrong. Best bet is get him neutered then you don't have to worry about catterwalling and he'll be much happier!

No females go into heat, males just look for the females in heat. Have you had your boy neutered? If not, he is probably wanting to go outside and do what comes naturally. Having him neutered will probably take care of the yowling. If he is neutered, he just may be a gabby cat.

Yeah he will be harm hungry or thirsty, If he's sitting by using a door attempt letting him in if he's following you and meowing he may want interest. attempt replacing his nutrition and water first. If he would not give up then, attempt starting the doors in the living house. If he keeps meowing examine him over. If he keeps meowing enable him outdoors, if he would not want outdoors play a activity with him. If that doesnt paintings sparkling out his clutter field. If he remains meowing call the vet. reliable success.

Yes, males go in heat. I remember Cuddlebug (my male cat, got his name because he loved to cuddle and would just purr the second you picked him up) would sit at the door and meow for hours even though he was an inside cat.

maybe he is lonely and needs some attention from you and then he could need a girlfriend. Maybe their is a female cat in the neighborhood that is in heat. I dont think that male cats come in heat i think its only the females.

No male cats don't get heat because 1. they don't ovulate and 2. even if he did he is neutered....right?

if he's not fixed, then his hormones must be kicking up becuase a female cat is in heat nearby - they smell the scent of that a block or two away. Get him neutered.
