So in other words do we need to unplug all the stuff that we aint using to save on our electricity bill.

No, it doesn't because no energy is being expended, you don't have to pay for the plug sitting in the outlet, which is all that's going on.

No, not lamps. TVs, VCRs, printers, microwaves and any other device that has any light from it uses electricity all the time unless it's unplugged.

No. If the item is turned off then it normally is not using any power. Some things have a standby light or digital clock. they are using power but at a very low level.

No. Lamps use no electricity unless turned on. Appliances with remote controls use a small amount.

No, no current is going through so the meter won't turn. T Vs,ect have an instant on.(no warm up)These consume electricy even when off.
