Yes. They work by allowing an entity into your body [The board functions as a gate]. However, it isn't always something bad.
Sometimes you get a legit spirit, who just wants to do it's thing. Sometimes one that has nothing to say [where you get stupid answers], and others... Other times you get things that want to hurt you.
I personally don't think they are worth the risk, but if I had to use one, I could.

A group of us in high school, eons ago, were playing with that board and it scared us to death because it was so accurate. Half way through the class, Gothic Lit., some genius asked if there would be a World War Three. The board went crazy and wouldn't answer questions all the rest of the day. Some curious,(stupid?) students kept trying but each time the planchet was touched it raced around the board spelling out wwIII and no no no then nonsense letters for several seconds then wwIII and no no no. If a board could panic that's what it looked like it was doing. I won't touch one again. EDIT: By the way, TM, the Parker Brothers stole that idea from someone else many years before.

It is not the Ouija board that lets things in, its the person using it who does. The Ouija board is a tool, and like any tool if you don't use it right there can be problems.
It's a simple matter of the more power/energy you put in, the more you get out. Unless you know who or what you intend to call, you will get whatever feels like answering, some of the answerers are not so nice.

No not in. But many things try to get out . It is up to the skill and willpower of the operator to control the forces trying to come through. Not all are evil as there are the souls of those that have pasted through the veil that have messages fo those still on this side. And to many will try to come through at once.which leads back to the skill of the operator to control these spirits and make them come through in an orderly fashion with assurances that those that miss the one session will be able to try again at the next one.
Each new board comes with instructions on how to prepare yourself to be the moderator of the session in safety and to guard those that are under your protection as moderator.. And there are books with more detailed instructions available for sale.

Evil spirits come from a lot of sources, not just ouija boards. Being gifted with spiritual vision, I can read your aura, and.... hmmm...
No, I wouldn't worry about those ouija board sessions; that's the least of your demonic troubles. You are desperately in need of some hi-powered third-chakra crystal therapy!

No. They are cardboard and luminescent plastic. They do not have any supernatural powers.
They're about as "real" as imaginary friends. If you happen to have an imaginary friend, then sure, I guess they're real enough for you.
In short, yes if you believe in God, otherwise no.

Not always... but they can be used to make connection with the forces of evil... and no mortal can contole them... it is like cocane...just once can kill...but it might not be the first time....If one mortal is presten who has contacted befor thenit is more likly that contact will be made... but if one is present in a very depressed state... or a female who is menstrateing... or one weak from illness...then there is greater liklyhood of contact with evil.... do not "play" with any of the occult things.

Yes, they do. That's what they're for. To open the door between this world and the otherworld.
