every christian should read it and follow it - it is not political- democrat- republican- liberal-conservative - green party- etc- the world would be a different place - ideally if we followed what the bible instructs us to do- Merry CHristmas and God BLess you- and me for us being polictically incorrect-D

I completely understand your frustration with the religious right. It's time for all true Christians to start LIVING the teachings of the sermon on the mount.
By the way, only the first part of Red Eyes' comment was right. Jesus was obviously preaching out loud.
