You can take your toiletries, but only in 3 oz bottles, and only as many will fit in a single quart ziploc bag (and you have to put them in said bag).

For carry on the rules are containers of 3 oz or less (100ml or 3.4 oz in Europe and the UK) all of which must be placed in a one quart (one liter) ziplock bag that closes comfortably. no liquids, medicines in UNOPENED containers may get thru, no shampoos or anything else.. and you kow not to take on arosol cans, right? ( like deoderant,hair spray) because when the plane hits a certain hight, everything expands/colaps and stuff like that blows up....
