I am going to fly to Florida in about 8 days and was wondering what sort of liquids can I bring with me on my trip? Can I pack shower stuff or will they not let me even take it in my suitcase? Whats the rules for the whole liquid take on policy? Thanks

You can take your toiletries, but only in 3 oz bottles, and only as many will fit in a single quart ziploc bag (and you have to put them in said bag).
There aren't limits on OTC and prescription medicines and things needed for health reasons, but read the specifics here:

You can take your shower stuff in your checked luggage. For carry on the rules are containers of 3 oz or less (100ml or 3.4 oz in Europe and the UK) all of which must be placed in a one quart (one liter) ziplock bag that closes comfortably. none. no liquids at all are alowed in carry on baggage.
it can all go in the suitcase, not carry on.

no liquids, medicines in UNOPENED containers may get thru, no shampoos or anything else.. and you kow not to take on arosol cans, right? ( like deoderant,hair spray) because when the plane hits a certain hight, everything expands/colaps and stuff like that blows up....
