I don't blame eve. I thank her, and rejoyce that because of her and Adam's choice we were able to be born. If you recall, adam and eve were in a state of innocence. It took the tree of Knowledge to open their eyes, for them to understand even how to bring other children into this world. If you recall they were naked and didn't realize it. They were just like little children. How many little children do you know that run around and engage in the procreative act? They just didn't know, for that reason they couldn't have had children, thus we couldn't have been born.
God set in the midst of them a tree that ultimately brought about something good something wonderful. It is said that we cannot have good without evil. REally that comes from having the knowledge of good and evil, which came from the tree.
Adam and Eve were given two extreams when given the tree, they could either stay as they were in the parisidical land, or they could partake of the fruit, thus causing things to change, making them mortal, and giving them knowledge. Life is a toil and a strain, and people blame Eve for having partaken of the fruit without understanding that without that act we would never have been born. There is no need to blame anyone. It was a part of God's plan. Satan didn't know that he was helping to fulfill that, he was trying to foil God's works. I like to think that God wanted them to eventually choose the tree by telling them it is forbidden. Don't most kids when told not to do something, go out and do it anyway? Think about it a little more. I rejoyce in mother Eve's decision.

The Tree of Life/Knowledge was not poison (or she would have died on the spot). The maker had a simple rule not to eat of it. She was temped and did eat of it. This was not inevitable, she was weak.
In saying blame the parent, you say that everything a child does is always the fault of the parent. Ummmm, I am not sure what your upbringing was, but I am pretty sure that when you got in trouble for eating a cookie you shouldn't have, or blew curfew, you didn't say "It's all your fault mom/dad. You had the cookies there" or "You are the one that set the time schedule that I don't believe in, so its your fault I am not on time." To look at it that way is absurd. People have to take responsibility for what they do. The Maker didn't make her eat from it. She ate from it on her own free will. (Once again showing the downfall of mankind was due to women...haha).
I think you need to evaluate what ever god it is you look towards and your real understanding of the God in the bible.
But as a sideline, if you are going to keep your warped outlook, then we can blame Eve for all the evil since she was the mother of all humans.

Well I don't know much about the stories that circulate out there about how creation was started but I will say that I found an interesting alternative:
in the Secret book of John (which I am swearing by in Gnostic teachings and don't know anything at all)
it teaches that well basically there is a compassionate mother-father, the holy spirit, etc. and then there also is an ignorant and jealous darkness and things that predate it. We obviously live in the darkness abode and it goes on to say that basically all evil was created by darkness and this is a mistake made on behalf of another ruler light which mothered the darkness, which the son branched off into its own and it could be referring to lucifer- but am not certain.
But all in all even though there was a mishap in creation (err- evil- and i do not at all know the whole story even in this book) Jesus is the One who should save the human race...

Adam blamed Eve, not God. That's part of the sin. Shrugging it off.
Eve did the same thing.
"The snake made me do it!"
One of the things that ANGERED God was that Adam and Eve, when all was said and done, were weasles.
They couldn't take responsibility for their OWN actions!
When you punish a child you have to make them understand that THEY are responsible for their own actions.
If you have four children and they steal cookies from the jar and you ask them and two say "I don't know what you're talking about" and one says "well Jim and Joe did it" and Susan says "Yes, I did."
Who gets punished the most or least.
SUSAN told the TRUTH. She didn't LIE. She didn't PUT BLAME elsewhere or say "EVERYONE WAS DOING IT SO I DID IT TO"
She simply told you YES I did
Everyone else assigned blame, weasled out or lied to you.
NOW
How do you PUNISH THAT
If you PUNISH SUSAN the SAME WAY, then she will learn to LIE next time, because the TRUTH didn't MEAN anything.
If you GROUND the LIARS for a month, the WEASEL for two weeks and SUSAN for a day, it SENDS A MESSAGE
The TRUTH gets you a VERY LIGHT sentence and a LIE get you a very harsh sentence.
But, GOING AGAINST THE RULES still gets you punished.

It wasn't the fact that they ate from the tree, but their actions after they ate it. This was a test. After eating they hid. Not only from G-d, but also from each other by covering themselves up. Because of this they were banished from the Garden of Eden.
I'm not sure where you were getting your information or maybe you were taught this at an early age, but its not as harsh as you may think. Adam and Eve lived on together and had many children that populated the world.

I say: Blame the devil! He decieved Eve and still does. Honestly, Adam is to blame just as much. He knew it was wrong but still did it anyway. But...humans aren't to blame. It is the devils fault. He did it for his own selfish gain. God gave us free will. We punish ourselves with death, not God He wants to give us life and life more abundantly.
He sent His ONLY Son Jesus to die for us...we don't deserve it I don't deserve it!!! I deserve hell and most days wish God would send me there because of everything that I have done. If we repent and follow Him we will have eternal life...there is so much more. Contact me if you want to know more...

Quite frankly if it was a mango tree or a strawberry bush I could have understood it - but it was an APPLE tree! Seriously, he wasn't forbidding Lindt chocolate down there. If I'm going for eternal damnation, I'm not getting there because of an apple.
Maybe he should have just found himself a one-armed guy and taught them lessons through psychological manipulation - It worked for George Bluth Snr....

Well, Adam had the typical male response when questioned: 1) Blame the woman 2) Blame God.

I don't worship the god of Abraham nor the father of Jesus. Just let these Christians eat their bologna to their hearts' content.
