some people don't want to believe in what they can't see or touch....it's the fear of the unknown...they say it's not logical or scientific to believe in a power that they can not see....sadly enough there are many lost souls out there

People do not believe in God, or have doubts about God because terrible and unfair things happen to innocent people and children all the time. God seems to not care to many people or not be paying attention. Whichever, it is a major stumbling block in the road of life.
You can see it in the Soldiers we send to War. Soldiers find out that God is not there protecting them. To many good men and women are killed and severely wounded for their to be any change of explaining why or how that could happen.
Also, if you know anything about it, War and doubts about God, you know that the clock starts when the wounded or dead soldier comes home. All the media attention and the new reports that included you as a member of the war except for a few examples of, Where are they now?"
The soldier is dead or at home unable to do normal things and be a whole member of the family because of a leg missing, a depression over lost buddies, or bloody children in the streets of Baghdad. You name it, but God is not there for them, until they begin to search out of hopelessness for a whole new notion of who god is and how he or she exists in the world.
At that point, then the right questions are beginning to pop into the ex-soldiers mind. At that point then the real spirituality begins. What we were taught in Church was all a nice little game without any of the real adult complications and disasters felt by most people as they walk through their world as it really is, not how sweet talking people lead us to believe in our youth.
The real world tests our belief to the breaking point, and often it is not farther away than one car crash on the freeway, or cancer that kills a relative.
The real god is then needed and sought. The path is that discovery which is the way to Faith, a different thing than belief, and a whole new pursuit. Your only guide is a built in sense that life is more than what one preceives in good times. And the need to stop the pain, or at least make it bareable.

God is like gravity. You know there's something to the gravity story because you have weight, stuff falls when you drop it, planets orbit the sun, etc. You know what gravity does but you don't know exactly what gravity is. Even Einstein didn't completely understand gravity.
It's like that with God. Many people figure that something must have created all this because the universe is full of stuff that didn't get that way without a little help. We don't know exactly who or what that is but we figure it's gotta be there even if we can't see it. We name this thing God.
But some people have another point of view. They think that the universe is a fluke of probabilities and thing got the way they are without any help.

The degree of belief varies individually , it all depends on how much faith is within oneself. Although God had created us equally but the same brain will yield different opinions and the main factor leading to disbelieving in the God is due to our heart,
to visualize something spiritually is not by our naked eyes but with our pure heart. A person will never accept the existence of the God if his/her door to the heart is closed.

its just a matter of faith. you cannot find a hardcore devotee who can give up everything for God and also to find the atheist who can believe in himself in every situations of his life is impossible. People who speak against God make it to show they are superior to others. They say that they dont believe in anything which is not proved by the scientists. But they respect the feelings, they love the relations which are absolute nonsense in the context of science.

I believe the reason that there are many who don't believe in GOD, then they feel as though they should answer to Him. Take responsibility for their actions. People have difficulty responding to authority.

Do you believe in Unicorns? If not, do you spend a lot of your time debating that they do not exist?
Probably not. So why do those who claim not to believe in God spend so much time debating God's existences?
Because they deep down believe, but they believe, but they don't want to admit it.

As Richard Dawkins is fond of saying, you probably don't believe in Thor, Odin, Zeus, or Apollo. Atheists just believe in one less god than all the monotheists.

because the GOD that you believe in is the same Allah that muslims believe in. That same GOD is the same Jehovah the Jehovahs believe in.
When you really look at the evidence, I think you will come to the same conclusion.
