Had any nightmares lately of being buried alive?
Heaven seems vague and cold
Hell seems a unwelcome alternative.
Is there nothing inbetween but the void?
Surely there must be something more?
I've read a lot of stories about heaven and hell. The best one was from a Native lady, A Cree/black/french lady who was a Shaman and who was dying of cancer. She said that when she was in heaven, she was sitting on a rock overlooking a vast plain, and upon that plain, a herd of horses were gallopping by. The horses were black or brown or pinto, but leading them all were two pure white horses.

I'm more afraid of going to hell I already feel like I'm in hell on earth so why would I want to burn for all eternity. I think the thought of burning for eternity is enough to make me a believer I don't know about you. If hell is worse than what I suffer through now please let me make it to heaven when I die.

In actual fact, it is not up to us to make a random choice between the God or the Devil, even though we have been given the free will. God had nothing to lose for those unbelievers, the existence of the Satan is just for the purpose of evaluating our faith towards the benevolent God. Although Heaven and Hell had been created for our returned soul as there is nothing to fear except for those following the Satan. Always get close to the Almighty, do whatever is permitted and stay away from the forbidden.

"Better to rule in hell than to serve in heaven."
I fear not for things like that because I honestly don't believe.
But if there is a hell, I'll be the first to admit I'm wrong and to accept my just rewards.
Besides, the concept of heaven seems SO materialistic. Streets paved with gold? Pearl Gates? Seems a place for those who embrace materialism...but who am I to judge?

I am a religious person. I do not understand why this is such an issue with people. Why worry about it? Live a good life-for the sake of a good life, and forget about heaven and hell.

Not everyone is scared into believing...some people have thier lives changed...some believe because they have met God and God has met them. I was definately not scared into believing. My life was changed. Faith and fear are contrary to eachother...A christian who is afraid of going to hell is misinformed. He's not going to hell but heaven. Just as easy as that.

Me personally, I read the book of Revelations and I was afraid of going to Hell. Once my faith began to grow, I am now more afraid of not going to Heaven which in turn puts me in Hell. I fear God Almighty more than Satan. God didn't give us a spirit of fear he gave us a spirit of power.

Well, if I have to chose between those two, I would say going to hell. If it's " not going to heaven " then I'm no worse of then where I started.

Hell scares them all. They all tell them selfs there going to heaven thats why God will forgive bloody murder as long as you "believe." ITS such a brilliant con. Hell is what they use to scare you and me. I think they can go to hell.
