My husband is in the Air Force. He has served in Iraq. He does not support the war but realizes that there is no choice other then staying there for now.
My father is retired from the Air Force. He never served in Iraq but in Desert Storm. He feels the same way as my husband.
They both do not like the president but supports him. Why? It's pointless not to. What is complaining about our president going to do? Nothing. Be pro-active. The matter is not whether we should be there or not. We are there. We cannot get out without chaos. We cannot stay without chaos. It's about choosing the best out of two bad situations.

No and I am retired after 27 years. My family has a military history many generations back. I talked long and hard to keep my kids away from the military. When I was in I followed the president because he was my commander in chief. I am making sure that my kids don't have to. BTW my father who is in his 80s joined that conversation with my kids. He is a WWII and Korea vet.

YES I SUPPORT THE PREZ!!!! I just wish he would let the generals fight the war. by bombing the he--- out of any town with a suicide bomber and not procecuting any soldier who mistakenly shot a wrong insugent. If I was the PREZ I would tell my Generals to surround a town with a IED to tell the occupants to kick them out where we can deal with them and give them 1 hr and if they didn't then blow the whole town to smitherenes and take about 50-75 hogs into the town to eat whatever they want. Go to the next town and give them 1/2 hr to surrender the insurrgents or you will go the way of Jerico . Blow them off the map forever and bring in the hogs to devour what is left of them .Go to the next town and give them 15 min to give up the insurrgents or BANG BANG !!Porkie pie will guarrentee you a way to hell !!!!By the 5th or 6th town I guarentee they will throw out anybody who is an enemy .If I were head of this I would do like Gen Black Jack Pershing did in the early teens that made radical Muslims leave us alone for 70 yrs and bring this war to an end in 6 mo without being politically correct

My husband was in Iraq for a year, he is out of the military now. He says get out of Iraq asap. War profiteering is running rampant. Poll after poll in Iraq suggest that Iraqi people want us out. email me if you want more of our story about what he saw out there.
