I have mine pierced on both sides. So I think whatever you think is right. I have more on the opposite side of my nose piercing just because it balances things out. i would be careful getting it pierced though, there are allot of things that could happen. i hope it goes well and it doesn't hurt--its only the after affects that hurt--and plus its really hard to sleep on for about 2 weeks. so you might also want to get it on the side of your head that you sleep the least on. no being gay doesnt have anything to do with piercings! a piecing is a piercing. i have a cartilage piercing on my right top ear and 2 more cartilage piercings on ear ear in the middle. get it done wherever you want. who cares what other people may think. its somethign that you want so go for it! just go get it done by a professional, not some bheap shop int he mall!
erin t is right. it is hard to sleep for a few weeks! and i got a cartilage piercing on each side. so i had sleeping difficulties, and still do sometimes. they are only 2 months old and still healing! just take care of them and they will be fine =)

technically the rule is left is right and right is wrong so left is for straight and right is for gay but anymore it doesn't matter so if u want to get both ears done or just one pick one u like just remember that whatever side u pierce ur not gonna be able to sleep on for like 6 weeks so pick wisely

cartilege does no longer heal besides as lobe piercings purely submit to that in concepts. Pierce which ever area you want and tell all people who calls you a lesbian to F off, it has no longer something to do with them besides and easily received't replace your sexuality once you've a piercing, bunch of weirdos!! i'd pierce the different area from the only you sleep on because it may harm at the same time as it truly is healing once you lie on it. I had my cartilege pierced 3 circumstances at the same time as i replaced into youthful yet took them out as i presumed they regarded tacky and were given bored to death with them. the convenience of that's i'm no longer left with any scars so in case you do settle on contained in the destiny at the same time as your older you do not choose the piercing you are able to purely eliminate it. good luck and use a sterile needle!

no on the right side for guys to get their ears pierced means gay for guys only but for girls they dont have that its your choice
