Risk: The chance that injury, damage, or loss will occur.

i know because the HACCP Hazard analysis and control critical points say:

Hazard is all that cause an accient (in the body, a seek, etc)
and risk is a probability that a process or place, or object, can cause a potential hazard

a hazard is like something that can/will happen but a risk is like something that may happen that u have a more possibilty to avoid.
