I've made centerpieces with manila folders shaped as a cone. Then I sprayed glue on the outside and glued silver tinsel along the outside of the trees. I've made 60 of them for the centerpieces. The tables are going covered with white cloth, black overlay and red napkin holders. We've purchased 300 balloons were are going to blow up. I only have about $50 left and I need to dress up the tables more? Any suggestions for more decorations with my $50?

A craft store might have pine cones, which you place on the table. If you have glue and tinsel left, you might be able to decorate the pine cones.

Pomegranates could look lovely, but you might have to negotiate a good price with your local supermarket.

Your local dollar store is filled with inexpensive supplies. You might find something ready made, like little gold bells. Or since you are crafty, you might find the components to make an additional decoration. Could you top the manila cones with stars?

I've also seen ornaments that look like tiny wrapped packages. They might be cute around the manila cones.

You could pick up candy at your local bulk store. Or discount store.

Or, you could put a little gift under some of the manila cones. At some point in the evening, the "prizes" would have to be mentioned.

Depending on the number of people you are expecting:
You could go to the dollar store and buy some inexpensive miniature ornaments and toss them around, or use them as place card holders.

Buy some ribbon with the wire edging and make a nice bow or two for each table.

Candy canes with ribbons

Make some snowmen or paper snowflakes and lay them around

You can spread some tinsel out over the tables for shine.

Maybe string popcorn and make wreaths, paint them green and add ribbons.

Pipe cleaners also make cute wreaths

Good luck!

Run tiny lights strings among the food dishes and get leftover pieces of christmas trees free for greens. Put the greens over the lights to cover up the cords. You can throw around some cheap plain colored glass or stryofoam with fibers balls among the greens or just pinecones with a dusting of silver or gold paint if you need some bling.

Small pieces of confetti-type things. Just sprinkle a bit in the center of the table around the pieces you made. $50 should buy plenty with money left over.

You could sprinkle silver glitter/confetti around the tables. You could then scatter peppermints (wrapped) or candy canes around, also. That would bring the white and red onto your black overlay.

Then call it done and enjoy yourself.
