that depends on whether or not you use a weapon, if you use a weapon it's a class X felony, without a weapon it's a class 1 felony.... a class X will get you 15 to life and a class 1 will get you 5 to 10 years

Robbery in any state is a felony, and felonies carry a 25 years to life sentence. A weapon involved ups the charge even more. Best way to get out of a robbery charge? Don't do it!!!!!!

look up on the computer "illinois State Statutes" then search for robbery and it will tell you the penalty. Then look up anything about "enhancements". You said your record isn't that clean, that could add quite a few years to your sentence if convicted as a habitual criminal.
