I mean, you don't know what God's plans really are. So if God controls everything then maybe he made things so I'd want to kill myself cause that's what he wanted to happen, right?

I am the free world, I am the word of life I believe in my own morals and values, I judge on my standards, I do not believe what I have not seen or heard, I do not lie about matters that do not concern me, what I do is my business & only my own. I do not fall under any of your catagories do I? You are confused at what I am, understand this even if you don't get anything else, I consider myself the king of kings & I shall not change who I am or what I represent for any of you motherfukas- My free world

NO! don't believe that.

If you think about it. Do you really know the truth? Do you really know that you have free will in this life. Are you talking about predestination? Because whatever powers that may be, you should love yourself and never let any lie like that come into your head and demonize you.

I'm sure someone out there loves you and you should love yourself. Life is precious and once you look at it that way and appreciate it, and become positive and do good, things will look up for you. You should believe in yourself and live the fullest. It may be hard to digest words like this, but if you try you may actually make it. I once had many problems (drugs, no friends, F's in school, etc.) and I still do in other smaller ways but I keep positive and trust in a good God and not in any god that makes people want to kill themselves, that is only a lie (at least it is hard to know but what does it harm you if you believe its good?)
I think that there is also a lesson to learn in life and it is good to have knowledge of a good God and of good things and not be so concerned with the bad- well exceptions in cases like fighting genocides, bad crimes, etc.
When you leave negative thinking behind new doors open for you.

I don't believe God "controls" everything. Why did Adam and Eve disobey God? Because they have free will. We make choices, sometimes they ironically go the way God seems to want, and other times they seem to completely oppose God.

I know I don't know you, but I've wanted to commit suicide before. I tried once. What I've learned from that is that there are people who love me and would miss me if I were gone. We make impressions on people's lives that we don't even know - we are always an influence on someone. We matter to someone even if we don't see it vividly. Even the most unexpected people think we matter a great deal. Find those people and find the true meaning of life.

Well, I know you believe in God because you ask this question, so if you do then you believe in his word also saying, "Jesus came so you might have life and have it more abundantly". God wants us to live and not die but He also wants us to prosper while we live here on earth. You see we are so quick to believe the bad things in the world, but it's hard for us to believe this simple verse from the bible " Jesus Loves me". Of course you know God's plan it's in his word, why would he keep that from you? God doesn't control everything here on earth, Satan does because we give him the power to do it, God just steps back to see how far we will let satan use us, like with killing yourself that's not the will of God; God loves you! Your special to him! He wants you to know that, so don't think about killing yourself and that God doesn't care, he does because you never know, your future could be something great!!!

Umm... u were born weren't u?

Anyway, suicide would be nice if it actually ended suffering. I mean, idunno for certain, but from what i can tell either you'll be completely obliterated/non-existant or your soul will carry on in some form. If your soul carries on in some form, it will surely carry with it that which brings you suffering. so, at best, you've extended the time you will be suffering by the time it took to consider and enact suicide. if your soul just dissipates, well, you've wasted a fair portion of the time you were given to experience life. If we knew for certain, it'd be easy to decide.

then again, i smoke, and i know full and well i'm killing myself.

My top two ways to commit suicide (for me only):
2-Shot through the atmosphere and burn up.
1-Set up a guillotine at the foot of a volcano. Have a catapult catch your head and shoot it in the volcano right before the volcano goes off. And then right when your head lands in the volcano it erupts. ( originally,i had it so the head would just be shot randomly into an urban area)

God do not control everything. One of the things He do not want to control is you yourself. God has given you a free will to decide what you do for yourself. Christians believe in a God of love and a God of love do not want us to kill ourselves. On the contrary God promise us abundant and eternal life. Christians believe God has created each person with a divine purpose and has a plan for a very meaningful and fruitful life for each one. But we must know Jesus as our Savior and Lord and allow Him to lead us to live His wonderful plan for our lives. God is all-knowing and all-wise and only He knows the best for our lives. With God life is certainly worth living.

Actually, wrong. To give God all the glory, which I will. I would have to say we DONT know any of God's plans. We also know that Human LIFE is presious in God's sight, and that he warned us never to take it, or waste it. So we already know that killing yourself is wrong, but lets go a step farther. God knows everything, God control's everything. Therefore, IF he really did want you to kill yourself, why wouldn't he just strike you down with lighting rather than make you take your own, I mean if you really do believe in a LOVING GOD then obiously that is kind of a brutal way to go, don't you think? God loves you, and the situations he puts you in are never meant to resolve in you taking your own life. Someday we will all have to answer for our sins, I pray one of mine is not wasting the most vaulable thing God gave me, my LIFE. God loves you, God created you. Honestly, if you created a perfect masterpeice, that you knew had the most awesome potential, would you make it destroy itself?
If God wants you to die, it will be in his timing, by his hand. Not by yours. Give it to God, not to self. God Bless

Well I know for a fact God's plan for you is not to kill yourself, it says in the Bible that no one should mark or hurt there body. Maybe you need God more in your life, do you go to church? Do you read the Bible? Are you a born again Christian.....God has something planned in your life but I can tell you one thing its not suicide

Murder is not God's will.

God does not control "everything". He gave us a free will to choose Him or not. If you kill youself it is self murder. God would not bring you into this earth and make you the lovely creature you are with a mind and a will for you to destroy yourself. There is NO ONE in the entire universe just like you. That makes you rare and like a jewel, that makes you precious. You are precious in His sight and He loves you because He chose to love you. Don't talk of destroying that lovely creation. What kind of person would crush a butterfly? What kind of a person would see one of Michaelangelo's masterpeices and rip it to shreds. You are unique. Death was never "God's will" for anyone.

I don't believe in that kind of determinism. (Determinism is the idea that everything is pre-planned and predestined).

I believe if God wants to take you, he will take you. He will not want you to do that yourself.

This does not mean that God does not sympathize with the depressed person who becomes suicidal. But he wants for the person to get over the depression and live out their life.
