Are there any religions out there that do not claim thet theirs is the "one true religion"? Seems to me like no matter wich religion you follow, wich god you worship (or don't) there is always some one telling you that you have made the wrong choice. That their religion is better because it is the one that is right.

it just seems to me that telling people they have to follow this god, this leader in this way and if not you are going to hell is just being a fear monger like the government. Like they have to scare you into it.

Another thing I have noticed is alot of religions say they are accepting of every one. If that was true then why try to convert people? Why condem poeple for being homosexual?

I AM REALLY NOT ASKING WICH RELIGION YOU THINK IS RIGHT. I just want to know if there is one that will actually accept a person for being who they are and holding the values that they do. Where they can be gay or listen to sexually explicit music and its ok

People will say anything just to get you to join their church. Keep in mind that there are lots of hypocrites out there. No one can make that decision for you. In this world today there are no good churches. We will never see those days again here on earth. With all due respect search your heart, and seek Jesus. Out of all these religions in this world today that's a whole lot of them, but the main thing is there is only one Jesus!! Please seek Jesus and then you will find your way!!!

God is all-forgiving, if you don't ascribe partners with him. When you become Muslim (submit to God alone), all your past sins are forgiven

[010:024] Verily, the likeness of (this) worldly life is as the water (rain) which We send down from the sky; so by it arises the intermingled produce of the earth of which men and cattle eat: until when the earth is clad in its adornments and is beautified, and its people think that they have all the powers of disposal over it, Our Command reaches it by night or by day and We make it like a clean-mown harvest, as if it had not flourished yesterday! Thus do We explain the Ayât (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, laws, etc.) in detail for a people who reflect.

[010:025] God calls to the Home of Peace (i.e. Paradise, by accepting God's religion of Islâmic Monotheism and by doing righteous good deeds and abstaining from polytheism and evil deeds) and guides whom He wills to a Straight Path.

Your question is complicated in that you *need* to believe your religion is the one. It is important to truly practice your religion like it *is* the only one. This you do on a personal level.

Now, that said, you also need to be able to stand back and realize no one religion can satisfy everyone. Your religion is not right for everyone.

The ocean accepts all rivers right?

This must be your opinion of religion when it comes to all people.

So on the personal level you have one religion, but on the community level you have multiple religions.

How can all religions be right? Too many important differences. Hindus believe in Many Gods from Animal Gods to Sun God-why animals are not killed for are sacred. Buddhists believe we all can be gods and go through different stages of enlightenment to get to the god-stage Pagans believe in gods from animal to trees to thunder to lightning everything can be a god .And Christians believe in One True God who Creaed us. Think of which makes the most sense -to me the Christian God. is the Most real.

my religion, Hinduism, embraces other faiths. We believe that all religions are paths to God. Religions are vehicles that get you to a goal. They are not the goal themselves.
As the Buddha says, "The raft is not the shore." Religions are rafts, or like fingers pointing to the moon.
I believe we should walk by whichever way gets us to that ultimate truth.
I don't believe in condemning anyone for the path they choose.

Yes there is and one is Buddhism. Also original christianity was so (note how Jesus was hanging around prostitutes and saving them and he even said they’re entering the kingdom ahead of the scripture thumpers). I tell you he was a dude but the Christians corrupted his teaching, how sad.
