There is no connection as such. But the same person can evince interest on both these categories of subjects. There is Zero Cool who has scored thousands of points by answering questions from Yahoo Products, Cooking and recipes as well as those on Atheism, Bible and Religions and specially on Scientology. One Thetaawal and The Outsiders have been countering her on Scientology. It is a different matter that her answers on religion and Spirituality are of mediocre standard and mostly her personal opinions rather than intellectual analysis based on sound reasoning.
As one cooks recipes, Zero Cool is good in cooking stories in spiritualism because she knows the recipe of language and vocabulary.

That's certainly an interesting question. This is the connection that I make by comparing Religion:Cooking and Spirituality: Recipe.
Both religion and cooking are generalities. You have rules in both that you're expected to follow, and the basic elements are usually rigidly structured. You have rituals and forms in religion, just as you have basic proceedures of cooking.
For example, two different Catholic Masses still have certain key elements which must be performed if the ritual is to be done correctly according to Church law. The same is true of preparing an artichoke for consumption. . .and believe me, you *will* know if you haven't done it right.
Spirituality and recipes are more individual and personalized. A person adapts a spiritual path to meet his own needs, just as a cook changes a recipe to fit his or her own tastes.
An example of this would be that perhaps I follow the teachings of St. Francis, while another person uses the rule of St. Benedict. One cook may use one chopped onion, while another person following the same recipe may decide to use half an onion or none at all.
I don't know if this is the kind of answer you had in mind, but it just seems to be a logical connection.

I am not sure what you mean, but I would say that spirituality and food go pretty close as it is mentioned so often in the bible. Incidentally God made the dietry laws because he know that without proper preparation/storage/refrigeration certain types of meat and dairy products would soon go off and would be bad for people.

sorry but no connection. Cooking is about what you know to be true and can physically prove to be so. Religion is about what you believe to be true and requires no actual physical proof to be so.

Rev 22:2 In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, [was there] the tree of life, which bare twelve [manner of] fruits, [and] yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree [were] for the healing of the nations.
GOD BLESS

No remote about it, they both nourish your body and soul, and at times I've been overheard saying "Oh God I hope this turns out"
