Simple! I used to do this when I was in high school and if I liked a guy...
There are ways you can ask a guy out, "without" actually asking him out.
Just make it sound like a friendly invitation. Say something off handedly to him, like you noticed the (insert movie name here) Movie is at the theater uptown and you were thinking about going. Ask him, do you think that'll be a good movie? Cuz I was really wanting to go to it but I don't really want to go alone either cuz that's boring. Would you want to go with me if you're not busy? (you can also insert and say, well if not that's ok too, I was just bored this Saturday night and wanted to find a friend to go with).
The great point with this approach, is that if he turns you down, you don't have to feel embarassed. You weren't actually "asking him out," you were simply trying to find a "friend" to go with you so you wouldn't have to be bored going all by yourself.
If he says yes, then there you go! If he says no, then you simply just say, oh that's alright, no big deal, I'll see if so and so will go with me or maybe I'll stay home and go another night. That way you will have made it sound like it wasn't a rejection if he said no, and if he said yes then there's your answer and he must like you at least a little bit and you can see what happens from there!

If you have a cellphone keep it near you so that whenever you feel that your in danger of it happening to you again call the police. If that doesn't work you could get some sort of camera and hide it in your room but keep it on at all times so whenever your stepbrother tries to rape you again you will have proof to show your mom. But what I really think you should do is call your real dad up and tell him whats going on because if your mom won't believe you I'm sure he will and he will probably get the police involved and Leigh will be arrested for rape. If any this doesn't help then you should tell an adult at school so they can get the police involved and possibly help you. Please don't be scared because Leigh is going to pay for what he did to you, trust me. : )

Well ask. That comes difficult but the best way to get answers direct. No offence, I mean. It's no point making daft assumptions and predictions by seeing signals because sometimes, we do get the wrong ones and a whole huge catastrophe pops up and poof! Friendship disappears. I'm shy too but all you need to do is to muster up all your courage to ask.
Asking is never a crime, dear.
If he doesn't like you and avoids you after that, he's the loser.
Go for it girl. Ask!

Oh boy, it's one of those situation isn't it?
I'd suggest you to:
Try to drop hints to show you like him, smile at him sweetly, then see what he does, if he smiles back, try more of these similar statics, you'll have to be patient though! If he shows he's interested in a relationship, play a little hard-to-get, don't go over board though, and just let the magic flow!

I suggest you try not to think that you like him that much when you are near him. Try to keep silent first. Just try to be-friend him. Anyway, all good and lasting relationships begin with friendship.

try flirting and see if he flirts back, i used to like a guy in school and were good friends, later we realised we both liked each other in high school and now 8 yrs later we are happily married, But first things first, become friends with him, once friends, then start flirting, start slow, see if you like each other's company outside of school hours...

i know what u mean but u have to. if he doesn't like you don't pretend to be something that u are not. if he doesn't like you don't waste your time trying for him to like u just be yourself. if he is worth it he will like u too.move on if he doesn't. i wish u the best of luck!
