I sent the letter in Lackland, TX an airforce base..the letter was just a personal letter to my boyfriend. So i should not send another just incase he does not get it?

It will probably still get there, but it will probably take a bit longer, since it might be put in the incorrect pile.

I've had both happen. I've had the post office return the letter asking for the correct zip code or I have had them deliver it, it just gets delayed in the process. Wait a few days and then check with your boyfriend and see if he got the letter. If not, it will come back to you and you can resend it or rewrite it with new news.

It depends on how wrong the zip was. If it was one number off, then there's a good chance he'll get it. If it was VERY off, then he may not.

Either way, write another one. The worst that could happen is that he receives two letters. :-)

It all depends on the person at the post office. I live in a tiny town and often get nail with the wring address, the mailman knows he so he brings it to me anyway. But, legally, it is supp to be returned to the sender for the proper address.

The Post Office will correct the error.
