What kind of picture, design, word, symbol, etc. would you recommend? What location on the body?

This is a hypothetical question. I'm not really going to get a tattoo.

It would help if you specified where you plan on getting said tattoo, but i would recommend some kind of tree. They are pretty and maybe a few floral blooms would girl it up a bit but not too much. Especially with dark browns and reds.

I think a tattoo is a personal thing. It's considered "body art" by most that have them, and chosen due to something special by the person that has it. A lot of people choose to get tats in remembrance of someone that has passed away, or to honor someone that is important to them. Others get them to remind them of a struggle they went through in their life, or something they successfully defeated. There are all sorts of reasons. If you're even considering a tattoo, no one should persuade you about what you, yourself "should" get. You, yourself know what is important to you, what you like, what facinates you and what you want to live with the rest of your life. You have to remember this is something that will stay with you and think, when you're eighty, are you going to want to still have this "body art" on you? Do you think you'll still find it "attractive" or as important as you do now? It's a very big decision. Of course, you can have it removed by laser, but that's costly and painful, so it's best to make a very wise decision in the first place.

I have two tats, and I thought of all those things before I had them done. Mine have to do with my beliefs, my faith. My entire life revolves around the Lord, because without Him, I am nothing. For that, mine both have crosses in them, one with a rose and the other with a heart and other designs.

Just think long and hard about it. I used to say the same thing as you "I'm not really going to.." when I was thinking about getting a nasal piercing. I got one, and I still love it! haha.. that was a few years ago.

You can search designs online if you're interested. But most of all wherever you go, make sure they are clean, professional, experienced and use sterile tools.

Actually I like tattoo but I am afraid of the needles. One day I told myself I will have a tattoo when I go for a holiday in Thailand. Since phoenix is my favorite mystical creature, I searched over net and here it goes... A fearless phoenix behind my neck with an Arabic inscription of my nickname Roszi Love...

I chose to place it behind my neck because I find it sensual. I prefer Arabic letters because I am living and working in UAE and this how i show my fascination about this country

Good for you. I wouldn't recommend a tattoo for anyone. Almost invariably in later years they wish they didn't have it. So, to answer your question, I guess I'd say rather than get a real tattoo, why not try out one of those decal tattoos that are easily washed off at a later time? Makes sense to me.

The only person that can truly answer that question is you because you are the one that has to live with the tattoo for the rest of your life.

Any Pokemon tattoo would be really cool. Or you could "cath em all" and have about 300 really cool Pokemon tattos.
