Actually you dont have to be on WIC or SSI to get a free spay and neuter as long as your low income you could have it done for free all you have to do is go to samsimonfoundation.org to get the number and make a appointment or go to theamandafoundation.com they say you need all kind of paper work but when you get there they dont ask for anything i had my 4 dogs spayed and neutered with the amanda foundation all in separate times and not once did they ask for paper work but $50.00 is really cheap i also know of a place were they charge $10.00 you can check it out the website is http://www.singita.org/site/PageServer?pagename=spayneuter

If you have found it for $50, that is pretty cheap. In my area, there are special spay/neuter assistance programs that give $50 gift certificates for spays and $45 certificates for neuters (in dogs), but you are still responsible for the rest of the charges.
I paid $105 to have my female Malinois spayed 3 years ago (she was 6 months old and about 45 lbs.), and I paid $145 to have my male Malinois (he is 60 lbs.) neutered this year. I am located in eastern Kansas.

That's a great deal. You could call around to a low cost spay and neuter clinic. but be sure to get it done soon...... what you don't want are puppies or a male dog that has ever bred a female.... really tuff to train to stop peeeeeing all over your furniture... So, yes, hon, that's cheap.

I have found in my town a place called Peacefull Kingdom I called local Pet Plus store and they gave me the name. They go to a local Vets office when he is off on Sundays and they do it for $15.00 for dogs and $10.00 for cats. You might try calling someone like that. I hope I was of some help.
