for those who just commented me:
yes my bf wants a bulldog and he wants one desperately.
i think it is a good idea for him to pick one out himself, however; my bf is the type of person who really isn't picky. Especially if u get one at a young age u can slowly build that bond with ur dog. i know...i have 3 and two of them i didn't even pick out myself.
another thing: i know bulldogs can cost up to $3000. but if u DO THE RESEARCH u can see ppl are willingly to give them out freely or for a low cost, such as 100-600 dollars. Believe me i know i have 3 dogs and none of them cost $1000. It's not like i want a dog for show. A lotta ppl just wanna find their dogs good homes. And even at animal shelters they are cheap, like 80 bucks and i know this cuz i worked at one in my local area.

If you can find an english bulldog for 100-600 it's a scam unless it is from a shelter. Even then, rescues charge 300-1000 for adoption. You will never find an english bulldog from a good breeder for $250. And if you find one for $3000 like you said, run. No dog should cost that much. You are better off to save a little more money and go find a good breeder. That way you can see all the puppies and the parents. Good Luck!

As Autumn acknowledged, a cleft within the lip might be something to manage, a cleft within the palate perhaps a very specified tale. You have to suppose approximately that together with her quick snout, she's already at danger of having respiration issues, if there's a hole in her palate, such a lot strong on account that meals hasn't already gotten in there, it does not imply it are not able to arise eventually, if it does, it's going to probably influence in respiration issues and along side her speedy snout, the last factor you have got to do, is including extra danger for establishing respiring issues. But regardless of most effective a cleft lip, there may be capabilities issues, e.G. Can it get stuck on matters, will it need to be stored blank via you or can she maintain it soft from leftover foods crumbs herself? Apart from, as far as i do know, it not often is just a cleft lip, has she been fully checked, in order that there is not just a flap of epidermis someplace that hides/covers a cleft inside the bone? I'm sorry, i do know that there is men and women in the market that feels that all lives are valued at saving, first-class that's your/their opinion, however separately after I listen experiences like this, I can not support nevertheless remember that both the breeder is simply too soft-hearted to make tricky offerings themselves and needs to hand over the resolution to any one else OR they're greedily calculating on that a gentle-hearted puppy purchaser will show up and have to "store" the puppy, through searching it for a distinct amount of money of course. If you are quite sure that it is just a small, superficial cleft within the lip and in addition you make a decision to move ahead and buy her, i might count on a colossal deduction in her cost. In an perfect international, i would in addition expect a agreement WITH a guarantee clearly mentioning that it is just a small, superficial cleft within the lip and that if it nonetheless might reason any situation sooner or later and/or develop to be a bigger quandary than what has been stated, that the breeder might pay/help to pay for it to be steady. The problem is that regardless of this variety of agreement, i am too cynical to count on to get any support to pay for any capabilities vet care concerning the cleft sooner or later.

UMMMMM $250 are you serious? Try $1200 or more to start! and in your area MINIMUM $2000 + so the only way is to get a picture and hang it up and have a daydream of having one! And our rescues IE.. ADL (animal defense league) here have rescue people already lined up when it comes to high $$ breeds, so even rescues charge $$ to adopt and when it comesa to the high $$ breeds they get expensive. Even though its a rescue.

Have you talked to your boyfriend, and does he WANT a bulldog?
My suggestion would be to get the collar, leash, bowls, etc and give him THEM for Christmas, then take some time to do your research thoroughly and go out with him and let HIM pick out the dog that HE wants.
