You really need to contact your doctor and demand that they run a CBC to check your White count. If it is elevated (and I'm willing to bet it is) they're going to have to run cultures. Do you have a cough or any other extra symptoms besides the fever? 3 Weeks is a long time and indicates most likely a persistant infection. There aren't a lot of pathogens out there that can sustain themselves in the body that long so you're looking at something very virulent or yourself being unable to fight it off. Cyclic fevers do indicate malaria but only where exposure is possible. If this is the case (tropical regions, certainly sub-saharan africa) you're going to need a course of hydroxychloroquine. However, if it has been 3 weeks, a diagnosis of malaria seems unlikely.

If she was once a youngster, then this could be fairly worrisome. But you are speaking approximately a little one that's practically three years historical. Continue to observe her and investigate her temperature. If it will get approximately 102 or she's fairly depressing, deliver her a few Tylenol or Motrin to deliver it down. If the fever maintains for a further day, take her to the medical professional. In the intervening time, if her fever is underneath 102 and she or he's doing k, then simply permit the fever be. It's the frame's average approach of combating off the worm she stuck. A fever increases the frame temperature which kills off the virus, and a fever additionally spice up white blood telephone creation, which additionally is helping combat the worm. For the vomiting, do not deliver her any meals in any respect, simply deliver her ONE TEASPOON of Pedialyte each five-10 mins. I recognize she's by and large very thirsty and it is difficult to just permit her have a tiny sip whilst she's thirsty, however that is main so she does not preserve vomiting the whole lot up. If you opt for an hour doing this and she or he hasn't vomited, you'll expand it to 2 teaspoons each five-10 mins and spot if that is going k. If she maintains to vomit even simply the only teaspoon, or she turns out torpid, or she's displaying indicators of dehydration (no tears, dry mouth, chapped lips, and so forth), or there is some other signs which might be worrisome, take her to the ER or an pressing care middle.

Where do you live? OMG persistent fever is a sigh of infection usually. If the Dr you saw said it was nothing, I would seek a 2nd opinion. There is something wrong with you if this has lasted as long as you said. Go to the ER, have them do a full work up on you.

Sounds like malaria. Do you live in a malaria zone? If so you need to take a malaria cure, as malaria kills many people around the world every year. Please do not delay. Ask a pharmacist for help if your doctors won't help.
