Ask him out yourself because the reason why he didn't ask you is already in your question, 'he is too shy'. So go ahead girl if you like him and you have the feeling that he likes you too then ask him. And remember don't ask him in front of his/your friends so that if the answer is negative (hopefully not) then you won't feel that embarrased. But if your intuition is telling you that he likes you, then do it hun because a female intuition never fails. Good Luck and hope this helps you.

A man will always take the lead when he wants something bad enough even if he is shy. However, you may need to make it safe for him to approach you. No guy wants to risk being rejected so he may need to know that if he does go out on a limb that you will say yes to a date. You have to strike up conversation with him and somehow throw in something like "I would love to hear more about...xyz.hobby. See what he does then. You are basically telling him you want to learn more. Or you could try...I wish nice guys like you would take me out on a date....
Try something like that..

Look at all the guys on here saying they like a girl but are afraid to ask them out. He's probably just another one like them. It's not an easy thing to do. You know theres nothing wrong with a girl asking a guy out. If you really like him then make a move.

alot of guys flirt. alot of guys smile. i dont think he likes you in particularly that way. he might just be a sleaze. most guys who flirt arnet too shy to ask a girl out.

well it's pretty simple baby, ask him out!! it's the only way to break the ice im afraid girl. Just go for it, guys can be real slow when it comes to girls lol.
