My girlfriend and I broke up about two months ago. Tonight she came over to get some stuff she had left at my place. I told her before she left that I wanted to say something to her. Basically I told her thanks, not for breaking up with me, but thanks for being the only motivating force in my life to make some changes (which I have and have proved to her). And I also told her that I was sorry for any hurt I had caused her. She started crying pretty bad. What do you think that means? I think she still has feelings for me. What do you think? Why would she start crying after being broken up for nearly 2 months?

also, I've been trying for the last two months to talk with her and she has basically ignored me until now (except after the initial break-up) It was even her idea to come over and pickup her stuff.

Most likely, she is crying over her lost love. She is probably mostly over you, but strong feelings never disapear without a trace. Her tears mean "Your apologies and regrets are too late."

You are right she does still love you and you saying that made her miss you more and wish she could fix things and make things better, she still wants to be with you. Thats sad you really need to talk to her, try to be there for her as friends dont let her outta your life. It hurts when a guy breaks your heart and sometimes it doesnt go away very soon. Please be there for her even if you dotn want to be with her like that

If she broke up with you, there are no more feelings. It was hard for her to see you again and know the pain that you have caused her (whatever it was) she is crying because she thought you cared more about her then to hurt her.

well your name fits you ! your in an ice igloo .. cold .. she is still carrying deep feelings. she is hurt and love ya still. i still cry over mine its been 4 months sometimes a bruised ego or unleft closures can linger as long as a year. perhaps you had no deep emotions. or none at all .. girls take it personal they get self doubt etc -unless they leave you for a better kisser than that is different :P

She feels you still care about her but she cant be with you and thats breaking her heart. Girls get attatched. It's normal. It will take a while for her to give you up
