MMA can't even get legit news coverage. At least boxing will make the newspaper and ESPN highlights. Then as already pointed out elite boxers make so much more then UFC fighters. Why would a young athlete choose USF over boxing when with Boxing you can earn great fame and wealth while with the UFC you maybe get paid 10,000 to sponsor some start up sports drink and maybe 1 million for a top main event fight. Tyson wouldn't even consider that amount of money today in as bad shape as he is in. He could make $5 million just for showing up.

True, in a sense.
UFC and other MMA venues (Pride for example) are just better than boxing, and thus fight fans see that Mixed Martial Artists are using a much sweeter science than boxing and have flocked to MMA events in droves, leaving boxing out in the cold.
Not to mention many people were put off by boxing when John McCain claimed that the UFC was human cock fighting, not that he said it, but that his wife works for Anheiser Busch which is one of boxings biggest promoters, thus McCain was trying to keep his cash flow going, by dissing the UFC, and plugging boxing. People saw through the ruse and vacated from boxing to MMA.

i do no longer agree. Boxing and the UFC can the two be money makers. the priority boxing has had is a loss of shape and massive stars. additionally, there is too plenty corruption. it is going to likely be exciting to work out what occurs with ailment(mma) and Golden Boy(boxing). they have mentioned they'll sell a card with mma and boxing on the comparable card interior the destiny.

super false, you don't compare ufc with boxing, mma fighters have been trying to compare themselves to boxer, different sport people, and with ufc having only 2 owners for a fact has more wrestling soap opera scripts than anything else, example George stpierre to Matt hughes quote(i am not impressed by your performance)Dana white words, and when Phil baroni out of reflexes hit one of the referees you can see Dana white telling something i think it was, chill or i fired you ...next.......pride maybe u.f.c. will be like general hospital ,old and the same crap over and over.boxing goes wayyyyy back,Julio Cesar chaves vs chuck lidell boxing rules...ummmmmm,do i have to say it?
