I have an uncle who stole my other uncle's (his brother's) car and crashed it in an accident and he has been in and out of jail and always asks us for rides if we can drive him places. I drove him home from a family party one time and he flipped out on me yelling and cursing. I took him home and he apologized, i accepted it to his face but i did not accept the apology, some things are unforgivable no matter what your relation is to them. I don't speak with this uncle anymore and neither does my family.

If there are lasting psychological problems that run in the family, the best way to deal is to pursue your own interests and make it a very high priority not to have children of your own.

Yeah, I have been married twice. My 1st ended in divorce, but his family still loves me to death and I love them too. Well, my current husband's family treats me like I got a disease. We live with his Mom because I am disabled and my husband is also. She says things to hurt me all the time and talks about God one minute and gossips the next. So I do know how you feel.

Sorry but your mom needs to go to jail. I sure hope there weren't any gifts under that tree for kids, if so, she stoop pretty low to do that.
Yes I do have problems with my family next door to us. They don't want anything to do with me as I moved home to help take care of my parents. I just try to stay as far away from them as I can.

My mother is a piece of work to. If I was to tell you everything that evil woman did to me it would take all night.
I just deal with it the best I can.
I isolate my life from hers for one and only deal with her when I have to. The less contact the less drama.
I will say a pray for you and me.

I don't get along with my Mother either, so I moved out of my home state. Not that I had to, it just makes it easier not to see and argue with her. I found that was easiest for me, we all have to handle it in our own way. Hope you find yours.

Do you have children? Were their presents stolen? Report her. Don't let her get away with it. She has no right to break into YOUR home and steal from YOU, HER DAUGHTER! What kind of parent does that? I will go without before I hurt my children.
