I'm thinking stupid.
At high school and even at college, it's a time to find out who you really are and what you're really into and maybe it's the "old grandma" inside me talking but in 2 years or 4 years, what you think is cool or representative of who you are may take drastic changes, so getting something as permanent as a tattoo seems to be drastic.
Just remember that you're still young and that your ideas, beliefs, and tastes are changing at a faster pace than it would as an adult (generally). So be careful with your choice. Also think about how this would represent you later in life, especially in the professional arena.
Thirdly, if you're serious about a tattoo make sure you do the research and find a reputable tattoo parlor.

i think that you should rethink the whole tribal thing unless you are from a culture that traditionally has tribal tattoos. and also know that there is no "silver" tattoo ink. there is gray but i have never seen anything that would be considered silver. it is neither sexy or ugly for a high schooler to have a tattoo it's just a little different because many parents won't let their kids have tattoos. i hope you will think of what you want to get and change your mind about the whole tribal thing. also don't get flash.

It is so permament!
I think by being a tough but yet a tender, sweet guy is sexy.
Develop good character. Stand up for what's right.
Smile.
Improve external issues, such as, building muscle mass, wear some cool clothes, highlight hair, improve complexion, etc. is all you need.
If you are going to wear a tattoo, hide it somewhere you can be employable. Some employers get the wrong impression that you are irresponsible.

Well there's no rush. If you really want a tattoo badly then you can wait for the time when you turn 18 and it will show you truly want it. Don't get it because you want to be different. Get it for yourself. Tattoos are permanent and once someone messes it up then it's really hard to get back to normal. My tattoos have meanings but i thought it through with my tattoo, i'm not saying you didn't but just think it through. There is no rush. You can get tattoos anytime

yeah, it would help to show off your tatoo on a hot body. some people get tats in hidden places to hide it from parents or employers and also to add sex appeal when a partner sees it. if you are the type who wants tatoos to symbolize something in your life and show art then it would be best to have it done when you have a nice body. it depends. some people don't have to trim down or get sexy to put a tatoo coz its hidden. its not really gross to see a tatoo on a "not sexy body" it think its just a bit strange seeing too many tatoos. people have different tastes anyway. follow your own taste and style. good luck on picking the right tatoo!

It's against the law for tattoo shops to tat you if you are under 18. Maybe that's why you don't see any in your school.

i dont think it is for girls but i think it is for guys but not too much. You lose it when you have too much tattoo.
i also think it's a lot sexier if you put one on a part you don't regularly expose such as the forearm. It is oftentimes hidden because of the sleeves of the shirt.

high school is too soon for tattoos. Such big commitments and consequences at young age can change when your older.
