Yeah, there's a poor quality photo of the side of her head while she was still in the car. It was some sort of Italian paparazzi photo. It ran in a bunch of tabloids. It could be real.
There's another photo of a woman, bleeding on a stretcher but it looks like someone used photoshop on the face. I'm sure that one is totally fake.

IIRC, they were being followed by photographers. the paparazzi got to the wreck before the police did. i am sure photos were taken. i havent seen them, but i didnt(dont) want to.
edit-
it seems like some of the photographers stopped at the wreck and were trying to help. they stopped traffic, called the police. it has been a while since i thought about any of this. of course, some of the photogs. were snapping pictures. it also seems like the governments of britain and france confiscated or tried to confiscate the pics.

Yes,they are real. Google, "Princess Diana + crash"...and they are very graphic, and its not only of her. Theres one of the driver and her boyfriend. If you ever wanted a reason to wear a seat belt...these pictures are it. Be warned...they are not for the faint of heart.

They do exist; there were photographers there faster than the ambulances.
