What was your worst break-up?

Yeah, it's me again... My boyfriend broke up with me on a TEXT MESSAGE, while I was in the middle of the store! HE DIDN'T HAVE THE NERVE TO TELL ME IN PERSON OR AT LEAST CALL ME!! GRRR!

For the record, I'm completely ashamed of this:
I went on a history trip with my school to Germany and Switzerland over the winter break. While we were there, I got to know this really great guy whom I had never really given a chance before and who I am currently dating. At the time, however, I was a few days away from my 1 year and 6 month anniversary with my now-ex boyfriend. On the flight to Germany, I ended up sitting next to this guy that I hadn't ever talked to before. We got to know each other and I even ended up falling asleep on him. Once we landed in Europe and were on the bus on our way to Rothenburg, I realized I had a really major crush on this guy and that I really wanted to date him. I told him how I felt that night and he revealed to me that he had liked me for a very long time but hadn't thought I'd ever feel that way about him. To make a long story short, the next day I slept in his arms (even though I was still going out with the now-ex). Also for the record, I did not technically cheat on the now-ex. The farthest I ever went with this boy while I was in the other relationship was that he kissed me on the cheek. So yes, I guess it was cheating, and I feel terrible about it. We made a stop at the Rhine Falls, and I called my now-ex from a pay phone in Switzerland to tell him that I needed to break up with him. I did not give him any explanation until I got a frantic call a few days later from him at 5 o'clock in the morning.

Fortunitly, he has forgiven me, for the most part, for what I did. Most likely because I ended up hooking him up with one of my friends. But still, the situation could have definitly been handled better on my part.

I was in 9Th grade when my boyfriend of 3 years said he need time space that he wasn't sure what he wanted said don't call him don't write him letters and don't leave anything in his locker i agreed and sure enough he slept with 5 of my friends and then did some other stuff and then have never to call me out during home coming tried to throw me off the balcony at school saying that I never ed loved him because I never ed called him and i just wanted the space too...... he is a loser know he is with a 35 year old woman with 5 kids and she is still married and wont get a divorce from her husband but he babysits so they can talk!! and he is only 24 years old

I ended up breaking up with my ex girlfriend through an email because she refused to see me. I tried breaking up with her for a couple weeks but she would never see me. Which is part of the reason I broke up with her. Then after I did she kept trying to see me and call me and email me even though every time I told her not to. I ended up yelling at her and told her she could jump off the bridge into an on coming train because I didnt care if she lived or died.

I was dating a co-worker. He actually asked me to marry him. I did not answer right away. As I wanted children and he did not.

One day he told me he had a paternity suit against him and it would look better if he were single. Yes stupid me fell for this one.

He and his best friend who also worked with us. Started making plans to go to Las Vegas. Reason??? He was getting married to someone else. No he still has not said anything about it and I didn't ask.

It jaded me something terribly so no I don't fall for that I Love You CRAP from men. He said it all the time.

yep i moved to another state for my bf after 4.5 yrs and i got a text thru the freaking phone I dont think we work anymore.. Im saying wtf how cruel im here alone in this town not knowing a soul waiting day by day or him to come over when he feels like it and i get that text after i called his home which went to his dads cell phone which i dint know as he wasnt the gr8 communicator to tell me this so he like got paranoid and sent that crap..I mean few days before we were expecting to hookup and all that and bam.. i said least have the balls to be a man to see me to my face after all those yrs to tell me why.. he did but it was hard.. i was tuck alone no way to go back home no home to go back to i left my good paying job family to get there. they sent me money to survive. I was hurting, I had no car, no place to move to and now to this day im in a temporary situation of living. All that ! So texts, I think in USA have become more so rudely used for when it should be real life communication which is stunting people. it is very easy to say drop dead go to h-ll get lost etc thru a messenger on a pc/ myspace/ text in phone /it has ruined humanity thru real life relationship social skills which is still needed. YEA it hurts that is my worse break up even tho i been divorced that dint hurt as much as this.. it was the worse coldest most unexpected cruel thing that happened. especially when you arrange your life and give up things for that person. I say what goes around comes around this is karma and his turn will be coming so im right with ya if ya want support and a hug as it will go back to them bad karma .. remember this..

When my boyfriend and I had an arguement about something really small we were really angry and didnt talk for days. I called him because I felt really bad and wanted to make ammends. His little brother picked up the phone and told me that sorry he cant come, he enlisted in the ARMY!!! The jerk went off and enlisted because of the arguement we had, he was in bootcamp in another state before I found out

well, my boyfriend told me to come over one night, and he left me at his house to hang out with his family. he lied and said he was going to take the trash out and then go to the store. he told me to wait there at his house. he went out with his new girlfriend. i waited like an idiot because he said he would be right back. well he never came back and he never broke up with me. he just didn't ever talk to me again. and his whole family knew and they didn't have the decency to tell me the truth. they were all a bunch of @ss Holes!!!

Believe me, he's not worth crying over. If he comes back begging
for you, tell him to kiss your ***. My worst was going over seas, loving this girl, writing everyday, sending money, gifts and dreams. When I returned to the states, I called her house to let her know I was home. Her sister told me she has been married for three months. Damn, ruined my day.

Mine did it via text message...while i was at work. He's in the army too. it said something like "i have to end it between us. i don't want you to wait around for me. i want you to live your life to the fullest. i'm sorry".

My X wife. It was terrible. Thank God no kids. She'd have hounded me for the rest of my life. I see her now and then, say hello and move in the opposite direction as fast as I can.
