my b/f is accusing me of being too affectionate to other people n tht im letin them get close.by not keeping the appropriate distance. which is an invitation for others to "grab" on me. cld any1 help me to creat this distance?

He may be approaching the subject all wrong but his intentions are good. All you have to do is decide whether or not you like him enough to only date him. If you do, then just ask yourself this question, 'if he were to walk up and see me right now, would I hurt him by how i am acting?' That's how you will someday come to define "cheating." And no one has the right to touch you just because you are standing close to them. Warn them once and next time tell someone else what's going on. Keep yourself safe.

Your fella sounds very insecure and controlling, and as long as you are not being intimate with others, he should back off. Does he also remain a respectful distance from other females? You may be a victim of double standards here, and he has no right to impose rules on you that he doesn't follow himself. I will be honest with you, any male who makes such rules for his lady is probably not the right guy to be with, as he has a lot of growing up to do. There is nothing wrong with you being close to others, and getting the occasional hug from your male and female friends. He doesn't own you, and if he doesn't get that, then he isn't right for you.
