I think you should just take it slow and try flirting. how long you have liked her also matters because if it's been a while chances are she might know you like her already. If you are good friends then I would say you have a pretty good chance, but being friends first makes it hard cause if she says no then it could affect the friendship. So try taking it slow. just play it up a little bit by bit then when you think she might say yes ask her.
