A gift certificate for a pedicure and a manicure... I loved them when I was pregnant, some time to pamper herself before the baby.

Ask her...many people say nothing to do with baby like parfume or a luxery robe or even a masasge or gift certificate to a salon. However I always have wanted the extravagent baby things when I am pregnant for Christmas or my Birthday, you know the 100 dollar bouner that hubby says no way to, I tell my mom to get me. It really depends on the mom, she may even like a gift card to Macys or Pea in a pod or Motherhood to get Maternity wear if they are a bit tight on money

When I was pregnant I always got gifts for the baby. Even though the gifts were nice I felt like I didnt exist and people only loved the baby. I know that sounds silly, but pregnant ladies get pretty sensitive! I did love gift certificates for pedicures though. You may just want to ask her. She may be really excited to get baby stuff. I was very grateful when somebody gave me my baby swing.

How about a gift card to a baby store and maternity store so that when the time comes she can have fun picking out stuff for her maternity wardrobe and also for her baby.I am 30 weeks pregnant and would love to receive that!

If it were me i would LOVE maternity clothes, they arent cheap and she will need them pretty soon! That would be a great gift, or maybe a gift card to a maternity store so she could pick the outfits herself. Merry christmas and congrats on becoming a grandma :-) My mom is about to get #12 total from me. (i dont have 12 kids, thats between me bros and sis! hehe) anyway and my mom acts like its grandchild #1, shes so excited!! Good luck on shopping for daughter!

My mom bought me a rocking chair when I was pregnant with my son for Christmas. It was a wonderful gift that I cherish. It helped put my son asleep when he was a baby. It helped me relax after my toddler drove me crazy during the day. The rocking chair is 11 years old and I use it as my computer chair. I love it and sitting in it reminds me of all the years I spent rocking my children in it.

A gift card to a nice maternity store would be nice since the clothes are very expensive and she might not have the money to buy a ton of stuff for herself.

my sister got me something for christmas when i was pregnant with my son and it was a lifesaver. Its a wicker basket with a soft pilllow lining. It has handles so duriing the day you can lay the baby down for a nap in it and get what you need to do done. Then if you have to move the baby you can pick it up by the handles and move the baby with out waking him/her up. It was great when my son was colicky because he didn't wake up when I had to move him.

My mom bought me a VERY nice rocking chair- that matches our couch when I was pregnant for Christmas. It was so nice! We use it alll the time, and I was so glad to have it because my baby was colicky, and sometimes rocking him would help him stop crying. He's now 14 months, and I'm always in that chair!

how about a gift certificate to a day spa! Being pregnant and as she gets bigger she will love the opportunity to be pampered! She can get a facial or even a pregnancy massage! She will love it!
